You have to hand it to the people in this county. While our neighbors to the East try to build mass transit systems out of legos and tinker toys the great county of JO has put together a plan that makes sense and will work.

There is no need for us to become part of any blight rail scam that the leadership of KCMO has in mind. KCMO is like your broke relative that only calls you when they need money. The last time we gave them money we got Science City, I think we have learned our lesson. Save the "fair share" crap for the people of STL who are actually in your state yet seem to be able to get money for a lot of projects in their Urban core that make sense.

THE WIRE - FIRST OF THE YEAR KICK OFF

It is said that you can tell a lot about the upcoming year based upon events that take place within the first week.

2. JOCOians take note of this story! KCMO residents are invading our borders and stealing our cars. At least they have finally learned to steal better cars. Hopefully we won't read about a Geo being crajacked on Cleaver Blvd this year.

4. Apparently Omega Man doesn't fight fires either. I guess these old folks were getting in the way of economic growth on Prospect. Give me a tip KC, do you play with matches?

MU FOOTBALL PROGAM = FAILURE

What else is there to say about the past two years for MU football? This was the best crop of talent that MU has had in decades and they weren't able to win a National Title or even a freaking BCS game. If this was college basketball Pinkel would be called a choke artist who can't deliver when it counts.

IGNORANCE IS BLISS

I have to hand it to local Muslims on this one.

Why the hell aren't they protesting Hamas? The simple answer is that Muslims hate Jewish people. So when you see these folks out there protesting today be sure to remind yourselves that they are actually protesting against the Jewish Religion. If it was about violence they would of started these protest the minute after the first rocket was launched by Hamas.

YOUR TV CHANNELS ARE SAFE

Time Warner and Viacom have come to an agreement therefore MTV, Comedy Central etc.. will remain on the air.

The O would stand for Omega Man, the Fred Phelps of the East Side. You knew it was coming though didn't you? Midtown was on the cover of the Pitch and you just knew that Tony was going to attack the guy that wrote the article because it made no mention of him. I just never thought Tony would go Jenna Jameson on Omega Man.

People that write blogs in the city take themselves way to serious and think that they are a lot more important than they are. Do people really take these things that seriously?

Blogs don't solve crimes, police officers solve crimes. The people that put there ass's on the line everyday trying to protect the streets from people that have no problems with taking the lives of others. The same people that chase criminals in the midst of criminal acts and get shot at. Not people that roll through the hood on a scooter and a cape 4 days after a crime has happened. And not people that don't know the difference between Leawood & Lee's Summit.
