Follow by email is going away

 I received notification today that the "follow by email" feature that blogger has offered since I started doing this is going away.   Judging by the responses I get and how traffic flows to this site, I know that several of you utilize this feature.  Especially since I do not post on a daily basis.  

SO MAKE YOUR FIXES NOW.  Get an RSS reader like FEEDLY and stay up to date.

A FEW THINGS

Just wanted to address a few things before I put up Angelos weekend post and take the rest of the weekend off from blogging.

1. I have been talking with some creative dudes from NYC that dig the blog. Out of these conversations have come some pretty good ideas that I plan on implementing this week. So you can be expecting more scheduled content and some other stuff that you are going to like.

2. twitter is crazy. If you aren't on it you need to be. I tried it out awhile back and gave up too soon. This time I told myself that I would give it 30 days and it only took me 10 to see its value. If you expect to login and simply do nothing and hope fore results then it isnt for you.

3. Got a private msg on twitter from a dude( that will remain nameless) upset that I slammed his new album (alot). This Brooklyn rapper didn't even sell 20k in his opening week. Dude really?

4. I have pure disgust for the socialist movement in this country and the destruction that it has caused. How do these dumb ass's in congress get elected?

5. HALF. If you live in some cities in this country that is all that you will be able to keep from your paychecks.

6. I am amazed at the amount of WT that is out here in SOJOCO. Proof that money doen't make good parents.

7. I think the local tributes to Michael Jackson have become a joke now that local casinos are doing them 2 weeks after the fact.

8. Why are you idiots still out there wearing shorts & flip flops when you are riding your motorcycle? Thats like jumping out of a plane with no chute. Get off the rode so that my motorcycle insurance doesnt go up.

9. KC stinks. If you ride a motorcycle you know what I am talking about.

Starting today I am going to do a weekend wrap of what I think are the best blog post over the weekend. I thought about doing a daily wrap but my sidebar pretty much keeps people up to date on what people are talking about and Tony does a great job of spreading the word.

My stalker has returned

It appears that the Lenexa, Ks city employee has nothing to do than hound me in regards to the greatness of Brobecks BBQ (crappy BBQ place in OP). What kind of life does this guy have? While I am glad that I am a hit in the city of Lenexa, it saddens me to see tax payer money being flushed down the drain in order to defend a sub par BBQ joint.

Putting "I dare you to post this on the internet" doesn't help your cause, especially when your comments make absolutely zero sense. Of course I am not going to post your comment when you say crap like that. What is the follow up? A double dog dare? Get real. The comment wasn't even controversial. .....

Lately I have been getting emails from some pretty legit companies that are seeking to advertise on this blog. Do I want this place to start looking like the outfield wall of a minor league baseball team? It all depends!

I have chosen one to start talking $$$ with to see if it worth wild.

10,000 VISITORS LATER

This past week I reached the 10,000 visit mark. I honestly didn't think I would be at 2000 visits at this time when I first opened up shop 6 months ago. Thank you for reading, commenting and all of your emails. And no I still can't figure out the right color scheme!

When I first started this blog I thought that if I could get 20 people a day to read this thing that it would worth maintaining. Well it has been worth it. This site is now averaging around 100 visits per day and I broke the 4,500 mark.

Thank you to all of the readers that bookmark, subscribe and check this site out on a daily basis.

BLOG NEGLECT

As you can tell the blog hasn't been getting the attention that it usually gets. This week is my companies annual end of the year meetings and I have spent the last 3 days entertaining out of town employees and sitting through endless mind numbing meetings. The only light at the end of these 3 days is that it is also BONUS TIME. This year on top of the $$$$$ I was given a trip to Vegas and more ownership in the company. It is nice to work for owners that reward their employees for their contributions to the company.

The blog will be back to its normal (or abnormal) self tomorrow.
