Snitch on a John - NE KC

 This idea might be the latest but it probably isn't a solution that will work. 
Snitching on a "John" that frequents the NE area's streetwalkers is simply the latest tagline in a nearly 100-year-old battle to fight prostitution in that area.  If you haven't been to NEKC (white folks that is you) then you probably think that this plan might work but the area has been neglected for so long that NOBODY in that hood is about to snitch on people driving through for quick relief.  

Have you driven down Independence avenue at night?  Probably not.  I use to do a lot of charity work with the Don Bosco center and frequented the area often to drop off donations to families and the majority of them will NEVER EVER talk to the police.  Most of them reside in the United States in an unofficial capacity and will not call the police due to either language barriers or fears of deportation.

Further up the road, have you seen the area surrounding Knuckleheads?  It is literally the walking dead there.  I have never seen more dusty white people covered in chemical disfigurements in my life.  You will most definitely get a gun pulled out by some psycho sitting on his front porch.  

The people of NEKCMO have been unfairly neglected, they live in an amazing community and historic part of the city.  Can't we focus on the revitalization of the area instead which will of course force prostitution elsewhere?  

"Just say No", remember that slogan?  Now city's are legalizing weed.

The Wire - 70 degree days

The Mayans have nothing on my ability to predict future events and this weekends violence proves it.  Never before in this city's recent history have the elitist ruling class been more afraid.  Trust me, in two weeks they will have that area resembling East Germany.  

For over 5 years now we have been discussing the crime epedimic in the metro and for 5 years it has gone ignored.  In this time, city leaders have even stated that violent crime has dropped and the Mayor, city counsel and chief of police have played blind, deaf and dumb.  ONLY NOW that it has reached the sacred grounds of the plaza are people starting to pay attention and promise "action".  

I wouldn't count on it working though.  If we know one thing about liberal elitist in this town it is that they are all symbolism without substance.  

1.  North East residents are pissed at all the attention that the plaza has been getting - Murder

2.  3 Kids shot under the age of 16 in front of Cheescake Factory on the Plaza.  And the one and only decent place left in KCMO is history.  

3.  East Side cars decide to join in on the killing.  

4.  KCK makes a run at KCMO but falls short with only 2 shootings.  54th and Crap Street.

5.  KCMO shooters aren't sexist - Woman shot/killed

The Wire - The Metro is F'd

It's always the same neighborhoods and headlines in the police blotter. The metro has been desensitized to violence in those neighborhoods which means that nothing will ever be done to solve the problems there.  It has become as much a part of our city as BBQ and crappy baseball.  

1.  Happy Rock Cop dragged for 2 blocks by one of our stand up citizens. 

2.  Blunts will cost more in the metro thanks to this mushroom hunter. 

3.  Another North East arson fire improves property values in the metros bests neighborhood to raise a child with a lifespan of 23 years of age.

4.  It takes the KCMO police department 30 years to catch a rapist (and they are bragging about it)

5.  Nothing beats the classic drive by - 1 dead - 1 injured - North East again.

6.  The last thing you expect in a bar fight is someone pulling a chainsaw out.

HOW BAD IS NE KCMO?

Look at the stats from a recent sweep by law enforcement. Let's hope that this helps the innocent people in the community live a safer life.

A total of 17 search warrants were served, netting 76 grams of cocaine, more than 32,000 grams of marijuana, 33 grams of methamphetamine, 56 grams of heroin, more than 7,000 grams of PCP and 23 firearms.

Then again you know that the NE area is pretty hardcore and the folks in their would be shooting people if an Asteroid was heading to earth. Just ask this chick.

1. The most despicable family in the United States just happens to live in Topeka, Ks. Today they got a victory in court that will allow them to continue on with their hate towards Americas hero's that payed the ultimate price for our freedom. The legislators in the state of Kansas are idiots.

2. At least the gangsters are starting to drive themselves to the hospital after getting shot. Kudos to them for not tying up the ambulance services for non gang related emergencies. However how is KCMO going to compete for the crown with the recent string of poor aim on the streets? Another team letting the metro down.

6. Don't sleep on North East Kansas City. This little metro gem is referred to as Jurassic Park by KCMO police officers because of the danger and they see something new everyday.
