THE SICKEST CRIME I HAVE READ ABOUT IN A WHILE

This one takes the cake. First of all this guy should be killed. If it were my kid and this happens I wouldn't give a crap about the consequences, I would do things to him that would make Jack Bauer throw up. Secondly, THEY HAVE IT TAPED!!!!!!!! How about reviewing those security tapes every once in a while! They wouldn't of even rolled back the tapes unless the little girl came forward, so what is the freaking point of having security cameras IF THEY ARE NEVER REVIEWED! How many other kids went through this????????????????????

The owners sound like real winners here too...
"Davis said he chose not to notify parents of other day care students after the allegations surfaced because he did not know what to tell them for sure."

So parents continued to send their kids to this place with out a clue as to what happened.

QUICK HITS

1. Topeka, Ks sets the womans movement back. Funny how in the capitol city of a state that has a woman governor this happens.

2. You gas price worriers must have your head spinning. One week gas is going to drop to $2.50 and then this week it is suppose to increase by 70 cents. Do they have Horner and Lezak predicting these things?

3. Florida teacher follows Chicago teachers lead and duct tapes kid to desk.

4. Clinton supporters are jumping ship on a daily basis. In this case I am sure that it is just another crook looking for a job in a future administration.

5. More signs that newspapers are going the way of the 8 track. I haven't bought a non Sunday paper in over 10 years and wouldn't subscribe even if it were free. Why buy it when all the info you need is on the net for free?

BAD DAY IN CLINTON LAND

Tuesday didn't bring us much sunshine but the news coming out of the Clinton Camp warmed my heart.

1. Clinton's tax records in question.

2. Another Clinton staffer steps down (gets fired).

3. Hillary gets her ass handed to her in 3 more primaries.

OLATHE DOES ITS BEST KCK IMPRESSION

This hasn't been a good day on the blog for the county seat. Tonight all over the news there have been reports of a woman robbing a Target (everything bad happens at Target) with a BOX OF CHOCOLATE. Not only did the brave people of Olathe get duped by candy but the police evacuated the store and set up a a wide perimeter around the store.

First of all, WHO GETS ROBBED BY CANDY! I understand that some Target Cashiers aren't that bright but come on, nobody is this stupid. Secondly, nice over reaction by authorities.

PEOPLE OF OLATHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT IS JUST A GROCERY STORE! Why does the closing of a grocery store require the newspaper to cover it? "Empty Shelves, Empty Hearts" are you kidding me? The best part of this story is that the employees and customers formed a human chain and that the loss of the store was "tragic".

Anyone that has driven through Olathe recently knows that the city faces bigger problems than a grocery store closing. I am not talking about the new shiny part of Olathe, I am talking West Olathe. While Olathe has done an excellent job expanding to the 119th street area the city planner must close his eyes when he drives to & from work because the area from the courthouse East to the highway is in need of help.

It is good to see that the people upset about the closing of the Dillons have their eye on the ball.

JERICHO IS BACK

DO NOT FORGET! Tonight at 7pm on CBS.

Here is a nice little write up from CNN.

THE NOT SO GREAT MALL

Is finally up for sale. Hopefully for the sake of the 151st street corridor its new owners can prevent it from going the way of the blight at 95th and metcalf.

THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE COVERING?

CHANNEL 9 wants you to inform them of potholes.......That's right, potholes. The news media in this town is a freaking joke. Is this all that there is that needs to be covered in this city? Hell they don't even want to do the story themselves. They want you to supply the photos, the damage to your car etc.....

BITING THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU

I called this one a mile away. Hillary Clinton is about to be "Kansas Citied" by the Hispanic community and I am going to laugh my freaking ass of every bit of the way.

Instead of fixing his own country

Felipe Calderon comes to our country and tells us how bad we are for having a huge antiillegal movement. Of course this idiot is in favor of open borders, what the hell do they have to lose? We end up picking up the tab on these guys and then they ship the $$ back to the home land.

Imagine if you will all of our homeless and welfare recipients going to Canada for jobs and benefits, then shipping all of the money they make back to the United States and coming off of our entitlement programs. Sounds good doesn't it?

Well Felipe it looks like you picked a bad day to speak because the policies of Arizona are working and will soon be copied by the other 50 states. You see city law doesn't overrule state law. So you can have all the "sanctuary cities" that you want, but the people that live outside of these liberal cities will pass state laws to end this crap.

QUICK HITS

1. King Middle School fails to provide the basic skills that todays youth need to survive in Kansas Cities East Side. How does this kid not know how to get a gun through a metal detector? Maybe this will wake up the school board.

2. Truman courthouse is starting to resemble the rest of Independence.

3. While the rest of Lawrence is shooting each other this guy saves a life.

4. KCMO gets back on track with a more traditional robbery.

5. The Cold War is back and this time it is over oil. With the Russians flying bombers over Japanese waters and now jacking with a carrier group it is starting to remind me of my childhood. The only thing different is that the women are better looking in Russia now.

6. Quake hits Mexicos Southern Border. Good thing they all are at the Northern Border.

7. Our Saudi allies never fail me. They are on the verge of democracy!

Grammy night - Carrie Underwood

BLOG OVERHAUL

Over the next two days I will be redoing this blog so bare with me.

QUICK HITS

1. The local weather idiots blew yet another forecast. For the past two years I have been going to this site instead of depending on the local news.

2. If ever there was a need for public executions it is for these bastards. Put it on PPV and give the $$$ to the victims families.

3. I can't believe that this doesn't happen more often.

4. Big Brother is going to far. America is getting closer and closer to looking like the police state that Demolition man showed. Do they not think that these cameras will be destroyed? Idiots. Although webcams down on Quindaro would be pretty entertaining.

5. Spinal surgery gets you an extra 5 inches.

6. No word on what happened to the Rabbit but it appears that slow and steady does win the race.

7. Researchers say marrying your cousin is optimal. Holy crap that is twisted!

8. Business burns down on Prospect. This is good news for developers who have been targeting the area for a Starbucks or Plaza III.

THE BASEMENT

After 12 years of marriage and several failed attempts it appears that I will finally have the room I have always wanted. The new house has a professionally finished basement with a wet bar, full bathroom and nice windows. This is more of a family room than what you picture a basement to look like.

For the past week I have been trying to figure out a theme for that room that will stand the test of time. I want to make sure I do it right and it doesn't end up looking like some teenagers bedroom or worst (everyone else's basement). To me there is nothing more depressing than seeing a basement with a TV, old sofa, plastic plant and a tacky painting on the wall. Who the hell wants to watch the game or a movie in a room like that? Since we have people over all of the time we need a place that is set up specifically for this.

So I have decided to go with a "Sports Bar"/"Irish Pub" theme. My goal is to take the best elements of sports bars I go to in town and shrink them down to my basement. From memorabilia to pub tables, lighting, color, bar etc... that is what I will be going for. Of course this can not all be done at once but I would like to get the majority of it in place in the next few weeks.

I toyed with the idea of putting a pool table down there but it would occupy too much space but there still may be room for a foosball table, who knows.
