How messed up is Kansas City you ask? Extremely. As I mentioned a couple of months ago it seems that this cities only solution to crime is worthless marches and this weekend we had two of them. If these idiots would put as much effort into reporting crime as they do in marching against crime then we might have something.

1. These morons marched against prostitution.

2. These morons marched against crime on Prospect. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE THINK OF THAT TO BEGIN WITH. GENIUS! All they have to do is march and the crime will instantly stop on Kansas City's most dangerous street. The religious leaders and "community activist" that put together this little walk are really letting down their community. If this is the best they have to offer the people that live there are freaking doomed.

WEEKEND WIRE

The rain played havoc in this weeks crime. Don't these guys have panchos? What the hell? Way to let us all down........

1. The one good thing about all of the shooting in the east side is the geography lesson that we get. How else would we learn about the crap streets that we would never drive down. This one is on Elmwood.

2. One way to prevent a messy break up is to shoot your girlfriend. That is known as the East Side Way.

3. WT breaks out the knives in Riverside.

4. Picking up the trash doesn't end crime. Enjoy your clean side yard from your hospital bed.

KSHB CONTINUES TO TAKE ON BLIGHT

KSHB is the only one outside of local bloggers discussing the blight problem in this town. This story talks about how workers have picked up 12 tons of trash along Prospect.... Has anyone seen Prospect? The place is still a crap hole. Prospect alone is an environmental hazard. What the story left out was an estimation of how much more garbage is needed to be picked up.

Nice try KSHB but tackle the whole issue, not just the feel good crap.

1. It is interesting to see that the "Red Star" is starting to put "East Kansas City" in the headlines when reporting the crime. 17th & Moulton the home of this latest shooting. Another thing, it says Apartment complex in the story but can we just start calling them "projects" instead. Odds are that if there is an apartment complex in the East side, the tax payers are paying the rent.

2. Skytracker helps catch two thieves. Of course this took place in the East Side as well.

1. 5 people arrested in KCK for robbery. Even criminals that commit crimes in other parts of towns are drawn to KCK.

2. 36th and Highland (how fitting is that street name)is home to the latest KCMO shooting. GO EAST SIDE!

3. The division of drug and crime control are going to determine if a mans body found in a rest stop bathroom in a POOL OF BLOOD had foul play involved. HOLY CRAP! OF COURSE IT DID YOU IDIOTS!

4. Olathe is not safe for kids.

5. KSHB continues to cover Urban Blight better than the rest of the local media. This story is regards to the Ivanhoe neighborhood and how blight has attracted crime.

6. 3136 Stadium drive doesn't sound like a gated community.
