KCMO PARKS BOARD NEEDS TO LEARN THEIR ROLE

Before the Cordish group came along and developed the blighted area that now houses the Power & Light district the Parks Board over saw a parks department with a crappy zoo and parks that were more criminal hang outs than family gathering spots. What gives them the right to "Demand" the Cordish group to explain themselves on their dress code? Instead of butting into business decisions being made in order to protect patrons shouldn't they focus on actual parks?
The truth is that many of the so called parks in KCMO suck and should be torn down. There is plenty of work that can be done cleaning up, policing and rebuilding metro parks leave business decisions to business people. You are slowly becoming as inept as the KCMO school board. This is what happens when you give power to people that shouldn't have it or haven't earned it.
Another thing, if you are bitching about the city not doing enough to prevent crime yet bitch that a private business is trying to prevent crime you might want to rethink your position.

PLEASE PULL YOUR THUMBS OUT OF YOUR...

Here we go again... A group of metro "religious leaders" are planning a march for late September to Stop the Violence and they will hold classes on Sept 12 on parenting, finances and job readiness.
WHAT A FREAKING JOKE! Are these guys new? Was murder #80 the tipping point? Where the hell was their concern at murder #1? These so called pastors are just as much of the problem as the mayor, media and dumb ass KCMO police chief. I have yet to hear of any real solutions or efforts in tackling this problem. Do you know what happens when you "march against crime"? You get sore feet, thats it.
NOW IT IS PERSONAL!

It is one thing for shootings to happen at the given spots in the metro but it is another for it to happen at a freaking BBQ JOINT! These places are suppose to be sacred. Can't we make BBQ joints bullet free zones?
IT IS TIME TO TAKE BACK THE STREETS!

MORE MONEY ON THE WAY FOR CROOKED NAGIN?
THIS GUY IS AN IDIOT. CAN'T WAIT TO SEND HIM MORE MONEY TO STEAL.
NEW ORLEANS HURRICANE

I have a few observations regarding the latest hurricane to hit New Orleans.
1. If you don't evacuate this time you are a total dumb ass. I will have no pity for those that get stranded.
2. Bush is a genius for not rebuilding that town at a rapid pace.
3. Do FEMA trailers float?
4. Does this mean we are going to have to see Nagin broadcast again from "Chocolate City"?
5. Why doesn't OBAMA simply stop the hurricane from striking the Gulf Coast by putting up his hands? If Bush is responsible for the tragedy of Katrina then certainly the messiah can stop Gustav.
WEEKEND CRIME RECAP

If you live in the east side and lived this weekend, congratulations. If you live in KCK and did not witness a grenade attack or RPG launching, congratulations.
1. If only the Royals could turn a double play as well as KCMO gang bangers.
2. The draw of beautiful KCK was too much to keep these two clowns locked up in Missouri.
3. A community picnic isn't going to do a damn thing to stop crime. When the hell are people going to realize this. I hope the food was good because for many that attended it could be their last meal.
