I am not updating the blog today. I am sorry but it just doesn't feel right to crack jokes and discuss music on this day. Those of you that have been reading this blog over the past few years know that September 11th is a very emotional time for me. The thought of those brave first responders rushing into a building to their death still keeps me up some nights. The thought of fathers flying home to see their daughters and never making it home again still turns my stomach. Husbands telling their wives they love them and they are going to charge a cockpit on a phone one minute followed by a crater in a field the next pisses me off.
I will be back either tomorrow or Monday with regular posting, until then enjoy your families and your freedoms.

In the Marine Corp we use to have a cadence that said "blood makes the grass green". Well east side lawns should be incredible green. On Friday I set the over/under at 5.5 on shooting and stabbings. In this city always take the over.

3. It's no wonder the cops in the East Side are getting trigger happy. 2 shot and one squad car window ruined.
4. KCMO shooters improve their aim. 3 shot in drive by and nobody knows why.........
5. Being a woman in the east side has got to suck. I would tell you to ask this chick but she got shot in the chest and killed by one of the fine upstanding gentlemen in her neighborhood.
6. Olathe Man seeking underage sex for $60 admits that he is a perverted freak.

THE AP DISGRACES A FALLEN BROTHER
Yet another example of the elitist media exploiting US soldiers for their own gain. The fact that the family begged them not to use the photo of their dying son and the AP still did is disgusting.
