The End of Days

Over the past few days there have been over 20 people shot in the KCMO area and nobody seems to give a crap.  Why?  Because it is now part of our norm.  How many people need to get shot at

once before people start caring?  Obviously 8 or 9 isn't enough.  Maybe 15 - 20?  

The exact opposite side of the coin is the over dramatization of anything remotely illegal that takes place in OP or Leawood.  If someone jaywalks over here there is a fundraiser, telethon, 1 hour of talk radio and a front page article about it in the "Kansas City" star.  

Can anyone even name one of the 20 or so people shot this week?  Hell no.  The metro has written off the east side and its residents.  The schools, parenting, welfare and crime over there are no longer of concern because there isn't a soul in the metro that truly believes that the area and its residents can be saved.  They rather let genocide do the job that the political leaders and activists of the city can't.  

The 64106 - F'd from Birth

For the past few weeks I have been doing some research into this zip code to better understand the infrastructure that exists in this craphole.  Some of the lesser publicised information is a pretty good guide to what conditions are like for those that are born and raised in that environment.  Do we really expect newborns to be straight A students when they are 14 when they are born into a world of hellish conditions.  

• 2,044 homes that are in that area code were built before 1939 and only 2600 have been built since then.  How the hell are they still standing and what are conditions like inside of them?

• The highest population rate is for the ages of 0-18.  Exactly how many kids is that per parent?  And the numbers have an incredible drop off after 18.
• Despite the thoughts of many in the area, almost half the population in that zipcode are white folks.

• There are over 100 sex offenders in that zip code alone

• The average income is half the states average at 25k and 43% of the residents are below the poverty line.

• The highest income level percentage is $0 per year.  

• High School enrollment is 1/3 of what the rest of the state averages

• 723 residents over the age of 18 have employment disabilities

• 1224 residents are living in some type of correctional facility 

• From 1999 - 2011 their have been over 18 Million dollars of government contracting awarded to businesses their.  WTF have they done with that money?

This is just ONE zip code in the east side.  How do you expect to solve a crime and education problem when kids are being born into this?  Could you be who you are today if you grew up in the above environment?  

Paseo Homeless Camp

Anyone else find it pathetic that KCMO decided to rid the east side of its homeless camp in one of the coldest stretches we have had all year?  What a bunch of thugs.  Where the hell did these people go and what houses were broken into so that they could keep warm?

At least these poor bastards have the common decency to live on their own RATHER than sponging off the government like those living in the housing projects that fill The Paseo.  

The Wire - Turkey Slows down murder

KC Killers take the Holiday weekend off to spend with family. Only 1 murder?  Could the city of turned the corner OR did Turkey make people sluggish in their killings?

1.  Note to all WT.  When robbing a "hotel", wear a mask and don't look directly into the freaking camera.
2.  Is it news when only one person is found murdered in the East Side or does it take multiple victims to get more coverage than this?
3.  Sex slave case in Missouri turns into BDSM "How to".
4.  Why would this guy press charges on his friend?  Sooooo he stabbed him, what's the big deal?
5.  Nothing sucks more than getting shot during a gun safety class.

The Wire - Weekend Ketchup

At least 10 people shot over the weekend.  Hat's off to the fine citizens of the metro for a job well done. 

1.  Only a dumb ass robs a house in broad daylight and thinks that they will live to tell about it.  This 58 year old now dead man should of known better.
2.  Holy crap!  There are actually stores inside of Metcalf South.  Cat Shelter Robbed in OP.
3.  Getting carjacked sucks.  Getting shot and then carjacked sucks even worst.  20th and Broadway
4.  Nothing good happens after midnight in KCMO, NOTHING.  Town topic 6 SHOT.
5.  East Side WT keeps kid locked up in crap room.
6.  This old guy has the worst mug shot ever.
7.  It is rare to find a resident of the East Side that has lived past the age of 50.  This is why.

After reading this story I would have to say that living in a park is a step up in accommodations and safety from taking up space in East KCMO.

The Wire - WTF KC?

Hope does not exist in 50% of the metro.  

1.   East side adds burning bodies to its bag of tricks.  What makes this one extra special is that this was done at 630pm
2.  East side women get their asses kicked/shot by one of the areas finest.
3.  Raytown continues its downward slide with the drive by shooting of a senior citizen.
4.  Why any cab driver would venture into East KCMO is beyond me.  Murder
5.  Prospect is to murder as Olathe is to white trash. Murder
6.  Raytown is as good of a place as any to get shot.

City officials seem content with their solution to the city's housing problem.  Compact Units with no amenities

You know your neighborhood sucks when

You know your neighborhood sucks when an Aldi opening (with gov assistance) is front page news.  

The amount of press coverage this is getting unbelievable and only makes the area look worst (if that is even possible) than it is.  We are talking about 13 jobs and bags of Frito's for $1 not state of the art medical research facilities or even a Jack n The Box.  Is KCMO hoping that Aldi will spur growth in that area or just prevent East Side residents from entering their upscale neighborhoods to purchase food?

Here are 5 more Questions or Issues that I see with this announcement.  

1.  At Aldi's you use cardboard boxes instead of bags to carry your food out.  This means that residents would have to decide which wing of their house would be torn down to carry out groceries.
2.  You have to pay money to get a shopping cart.  Will Aldi implement a WIC for Cart program?
3.  Who the hell are they going to find to work there?  This store will be a target for robbery on a daily basis.
4.  Do they plan on changing the store name every time criminal activity takes place there to keep pace with the name changing of the street that they are on?  This places name and address might change 5 times a year.
5.  Will they sell boxed wine?

The Wire - Mo Murda

2 murders and it is only Wednesday.  Vegas odds makers have nothing on my ability to predict murders in the metro. 

1. When the headline to this story read "Johnson County" I couldn't believe it.  Then I saw that this topless WT whore did this in Gardner and well, it just kinda fit.  Gardner is our Raytown.
2.  There is no such thing as safety in numbers when you live in KCMO.  1 Dead East Side.
3.  General Store Robbery?  I hope Floyds Barber Shop is safe.
4.  East Side Problem Solver is a Revolver.  40 year old woman killed

Any good murder handicapper can tell you that temperature is a key factor when predicting violent crime in this city.  The first day of Spring this year didn't let us down. 

1.  House Party 4 - 3 shot 1 killed in KCMO
2.  It's 3am, you are in East KCMO and at a bar WTF did you think would happen - 2 shot - 1 killed
3.  Going to a 7-11 in East KCMO is pretty freaking stupid - Dead

KANSAS CITY BLEEDS

There are so many over achievers this weekend that it was hard to choose who to feature.  The below pieces of crap did a great job of separating themselves from the rest of the pack.

1.  Only a thief in KCMO would be dumb enough to target a store in which the highest priced item is a dollar. 
2.  Cold temperatures don't frighten off Prospect ave. shooters.  1 dead.
3.  KCMO alley ways serve as tombs for its residents.
4.  Olathe Tough guy murders 3 week old child.  Have a nice short life in prison you piece of Sh&*
5.  Wichita is just now getting their first homicide of the year?  Slackers
6.  16 Year Old KCK chick get acceptance letter from her first choice prison.  Full Ride scholarship for life.

THE WIRE - Shell Casings

When there is only a single murder in KCMO it almost seems like a fluke.  I am sure that the rest of the bodies will start showing up later this week.

1,  Ain't no party like an East Side Party if you want to get shot.

2.  This story could only take place in a town called Gypsum, Ks.  Stupid Hillbillies

3.  The Wornall area is getting worst each week that passes.

4.  Gun shot wounds are so common in KCK that they are now being called "minor injuries" .  Two shot in KCK gang battle.

THE WIRE - RED SNOW

Despite the cold temperatures, Chiefs game, warning from the Mayor and the Aflockalypse the city's best and brightest continued on with their murdering ways.  This goes to show you the production level that an unionized workforce can provide.

1.  BP spills blood up in the Northland with the help of some fine citizens.
2.  The only time we ever hear of a street in KCK is when somebody gets shot.  May Lane gets 2.
3.  North OP crime continues to rise.  Jimmy Johns Robbery

5.  Assault weapons are the alarm clock of choice in the East Side

Labor day weekend is never a disappointment in the metro BUT this weekend had it all. If you live in the East Side and you are still alive then consider yourself lucky.  DAMN!


1.  Cutlery death on Olathe highway. 
2.  Smacking ho's will get your ass fatally stabbed in KCMO.
3.  Prospect, Greggory Blvd and 10:30 at night.  If you combine those three then you should almost expect to get killed.
4.  Holy Crap this is awesome.  Shot man who was high on PCP caught running down the street in the East Side. 
5.  The decline of Independence leads to yet another Murder. 
6.  The only time Highland is ever in the news is when someone gets killed.  Guess what, Highland is in the news.
7.  Everyone is getting into the Murder act.  Welcome backwards ass Belton into the mix.
8.  Another Awesome East Side Tale - Man gets stabbed for refusing to finish his dinner.  
9.  East Side set up leads to 2 people getting shot.  
10.  And to round out our Top 10 weekend Crimes.  A man gets shot 3 times while fleeing an argument and 2 more injured.
