Liberal Elites Create Homeless problem in KC METRO

If you have been awake in KC for the past 10 years then you would have noticed

the trend of middle-class housing go bye-bye.  This blog has covered it (long before it became newsworthy) since our return to blogging a few years back but almost no other media outlet has brought it up.  Instead, they were minions to developers looking to transition the metro into an Oasis of expensive apartments and retail shops.  Call it multiuse and put some unknown artist's statue in the middle and the media ate it up.  Hell, so did you.

Now you are getting trickle-down housing.  Those folks that use to be able to afford homes in JOCO are now having to either move into shit apartments or move to KCMO.  This in turn raises the prices of those people living in KCMO which forces those residents out. And so on, and so on.
'
The end result, Homelessness.  See NYC, San Fran, L.A., Austin, etc...

How long before metro residents are stepping over human feces and needles?

Paseo Homeless Camp

Anyone else find it pathetic that KCMO decided to rid the east side of its homeless camp in one of the coldest stretches we have had all year?  What a bunch of thugs.  Where the hell did these people go and what houses were broken into so that they could keep warm?

At least these poor bastards have the common decency to live on their own RATHER than sponging off the government like those living in the housing projects that fill The Paseo.

Crime Pays for the Homeless

This guy breaks through the window of a business and then stabs 2 people and fights with others and gets sent to jail.  Is that really a punishment for a guy that had nowhere to sleep, nothing to eat, no change of clothes and no hot water to shower with?  I am sure that the mattresses their aren't sleep number though..

Homeless < stray dog in Philly

Think that they are talking about Zoo animals or stray dogs?  Nope, they are talking about people, homeless people.  Its no wonder the Fresh Prince moved in with Uncle Phil

Can you make the homeless homeless?

Thanks to a story I read on Tony's Kansas City I found out that YES you can make the homeless homeless.   This is typical of Kansas City.  See, the people that run the city can't make peoples lives any better BUT they have a long history of making people who are all ready miserable even more worst off.

It's the HIGHER plan and city leaders have flawlessly executed it now for over 40 years.
  • Murder Rate, Higher
  • Unemployment, Higher
  • Uneducated, Higher
  • Homelessness, Higher
  • Taxes, Higher
  • Poverty Rate, Higher
The only thing that is lower is the life expectancy and expectations of the city's residents.

SYMBOLISM OVER SUBSTANCE - CAMP OUT

It is that time of year again.  That's right, it is time for spoiled kids from the burbs to sleep in a tent and watch movies in order to bring attention to the homeless problem.  Why can't they cut a check, do a food drive or SOMETHING.

This whole thing screams "pay attention to me", " I care more than you".  What a joke.

GREEDY HOMELESS PEOPLE

For far to long homeless people have been living an easy life. They don't have to worry about work, family, car payments or house payments. Well that is all changing. Your friendly neighborhood liberals have decided to charge these poor bastards rent in NYC.

When I first read this story I thought it was an Onion story.

TEETER TOTTER, SWING, SLIDE, CRACK HEAD

The hippie drop out residents of Lawrence, Ks (gods country) have lost their freaking minds. Homeless camps in parks? For a city that considers themselves "Green" they are clueless. Have they considered the environmental impact on these parks from the bums? Broken bottles, needles, feces, urine and trash aren't exactly good for green space set aside for people to enjoy.

And who the hell is going to take their kids to a park filled with homeless people "camping". Would you let your kid swing next to Hobo Joe and Crack head Mike?

Idiots.

A STRAY IS A STRAY IN KCMO

What was suppose to be a heart warming story turns out to be more of an embarrassment than anything.

How is it a positive story that a neighborhood treats a homeless woman the same way they treat a stray dog?

I kept waiting for one of the people interviewed to say that they got her spayed.

HOMELESS SEASON STARTED?

Apparently Homeless season started on Feb 1st this year. I am not sure what the limit is but I am sure that it is listed some place on the net. If any of you have suggestions on where to set up a tree stand let us know.

Also, if you notice the perp is another white dude with tats.

WAYSIDE WAIFS FOR HUMANS?

The idea of giving temporary homes for homeless people(in one place) sounds an awful lot like the citys solution to homeless animals. At least going forward we will know that the citys homeless have had all of their shots, been spayed or neutered, socialized and given flea baths.

CAN'T WE DO BETTER THAN BEANS AND RICE?

I just read this story and the first image that came to my head was the South Park episode in which Sally Struthers was hoarding all the snackie cakes while the poor people in Africa ate beans and rice.

Is this the best we can do for the homeless in the area? Beans and Rice? This is America, not Ethiopia. I find it hard to believe that with all the donations that are given to local charities that our local hobos are facing a freaking shortage of African aide food.
