COLLINS OUT 6 WEEKS.

He had surgery on his ankle today and is expected to miss the next 6 weeks ( at a minimum). This is bad news for a team all ready missing Brandon Rush.

CROYLE NAMED STARTER, FINALLY

Why the Chiefs went into the season with Huard as their starter is beyond me. Why the Chiefs left him as the starter for as long as they did is beyond me. Going into this years season who in their right mind thought that the Chiefs could compete with the Patriots or the Colts? Or make it to the playoffs? So why did we go into the season with a guy that had never been more than a backup instead of starting the QB that could be our future? We wasted half the season with the antics of Huard when we could of been giving Croyle a shot to prove himself.

Do the Chiefs want to go into next years draft not knowing what they have in Croyle and possibly pass on drafting another QB because they think he is the man? Don't blame Herm, blame Carl. Anyone that watched the training cap series on HBO knows that Herm wanted Croyle and Carl wanted Huard. Carl just couldn't face the fact that he has put this team in the worst spot it has been since his arrival and would do anything to finish .500, including sacrificing the teams future.

So we finally get to see what this kid has in him, thanks Herm for not making this season completely worthless. One more thing. How about putting in some of our backup O Line to see if they are worth a damn as well.

UPDATE TO 435 SHOOTING KARMA?

1. Eddie Drummond - This guy might be the worst kick returner ever to enter arrowhead stadium. His stop, drop and roll technique should only be used when on fire.
2. Damon Huard - This guy makes me long for the days of ape man Steve Bono.
