No matter how much you might improve and no matter how much your local sports talk show host try to hype you up, you will never be as good as KU.  It’s a fact of life that schools with cats as their mascots should simply get use to.

NEWS OUT OF MANHATTAN

It appears that K State has found at least on candidate for president of their University.

I would like to take a moment to thank the smart people out in Manhattan, Ks for bringing back Snyder. I was truly worried that Kansas State might go out and grab a big name coach with a lot of upside to turn their program around.

The hiring of Snyder ensures that the Purple Towel waving hillbillies to the West will remain losing.

YOU KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN

I have been saying it since before the college basketball season started. There is noway in hell that Kansas State can been taken seriously as a college basketball program. It was funny seeing the HS coach and his one & done players get manhandled by a real basketball team on Saturday.

I am sure that the good folks in Manhattan are already working on a collectible DVD about their epic rise to #3 in the Big 12, the retirement of Beasley's jersey, . Now they can get back to being a um, uh "football school"? I am sure that Ron Prince will not let them down.

1. When K State plays MU it is hard for KU fans to decide who to cheer for. Yesterday you saw the epic match up of a bunch of "one and done" players vs. the latest edition of MU street thugs. K State stomped on them at home (which is the only place they seem to be able to win) but which program is set up better long term? It has to be MU. K State will not matter after Beasley & Walker depart.

2. Jeffery Flanagan once again writes the obvious. This guy is nothing more than a crappy blogger with a press pass.

3. Us Patriots fans looking to rewrite history should start vacationing in Nicaragua. There has to be a Nicaraguan with an E Bay account willing to sell one of those shirts.

4. The GM of the Yankees is complaining about having a blank check to piece together his team. Dayton Moore needs to kick this guys ass.

5. The guy that topped the Thiesman injury has been released from the hospital. Lucky for him that chicks dig scars.

6. Jason Whitlock writes an excellent piece about the NBA All Star weekend. I am a huge NBA fan but can not watch a game until after All Star weekend. The regular season is far too long.

KANSAS STATE GETS SPANKED BY XAVIER

While the Jayhawks continue to roll over everyone that is put in front of them the AAU team in Manhattan continues to struggle. This is what happens when you assemble a team of AND1 players with a coach thats biggest win was in High School.

Bill Walker of Kansas State

It appears that Bill Walker is not having any problems adjusting to life in Manhattan, Ks. He knows where the grocery stores are, the mall and has even decided to pick up on another Manhattan norm. Last night Bill Walker decided that he would take a piss on the basketball court. It appears that Bill has gotten use to life without working plumbing in Manhattan just as the rest of the population.

K State crybabies

It amazes me how many K State football fans (something that didn't exist 12 years ago) are jumping on the MU Football program bandwagon. This is almost as big of a game for them as it is for KU or MU. I have several friends that played football back in the mid 90's for Snyder and they are embarrassed by the way that their fans are acting. They feel that the more that K State fans jump on the MU bandwagon the better it makes KU's success, they are right.

K State fans are new to cheering for athletics so they have no real loyalty. Most K State fans didn't even know they had a football team until the early 90's. Then on the day they were to honor the man that turned around (for a few years) their football program, they couldn't even fill up the stadium. This is why K State can never be a real rival, they don't get it. When would you ever catch a KU fan cheering for an MU or K State victory? When would you catch a KU fan acting as if K State or MU was their team? You wouldn't.
K State fans need to sit this one out and develop your own historic rivalries instead of jumping on ours. You are just embarrassing yourselves.
