PIMPING OF DAUGHTERS IN JOCO

It has started! This weekend was the first weekend that I have seen JOCO girls being pimped for school fund raising. You know what I am talking about. The teenage girls dressed in bikini tops and boy shorts standing on corners wanting to wash your car for free. This isn't a new thing by any means but it is still funny as hell when you break it down.

Parents/Schools need money for activities and equipment

The participants in these activities are attractive women that under most circumstances just looking at them could get you 20 years in prison.

Parents don't want to dip into their wine fund to send Brittany to Cheer Camp.

Parents get with school officials and offer to have their girls stand on corners barely dressed begging for money.

Middle aged men pull into parking lot and get car washed by other less attractive girls.

Middle aged man feels guilty for the enjoyment he gets from this free car wash and decides to make a donation.

Parents/Coaches/Teachers come up to middle aged man and take money and thank him for drooling over their kid.

If this crap happened in any other county besides JOCO the FBI would be conducting raids and linking this to craigslist. God Bless JOCO.

As mentioned last week, Cinco De Mayo has come and gone. However, Crown Center is going to give everyone who missed it a chance to catch up on all the Latin culture you can take. Starting at around noon today until 11, CC will celebrate the 10^th annual Fiesta Kansas City which will feature Latin music as in…a cookah rocha ah cookah a rocha!…. and food and dancing. I expect it to be a lot of fun as usual and weather could not be any better!

For you old timers out there, Fleetwood Mac is performing at the Sprint Center tonight. I’m sure they will put on a good show. The perfect night would entail eating at Margarita’s on SW BLVD and drinking their namesake until show time. Oh and tickets are through TicketMaster.

Got kids? Check out Deanna Farmstead in South Overland Park. It is a very nice setting, in a great part of town with many restaurants and a movie theatre nearby. It is free and open daily.

Have a killer weekend..Oh and by the way, according to Myth Busters, penny’s do not screw up breathalyzers! No wonder!

MINO UNDER ATTACK

It appears that Mr. Mino is under attack by a KC blogger that happens to be Hispanic. I will keep this short and sweet because I personally believe that bloggers arguing with other bloggers is pretty worthless.

I dont understand how someone born and raised in the United States can call out an Immigrant from Ecuador from being a sellout. Thats like me calling out someone born in Ireland a sellout because they don't fight for the IRA . Honestly the fact that Mr. Mino is Latino has nothing to do with why I have him post here. I like the story of immigrants coming to this country and actually loving it an nobody had a problem last week when he wasnt discussing the topic of immigration, a topic he is actually familiar wiht and gone through. Others that want to make this an issue can't say the same now can they?

So what if Mr. Mino doesn't belong to the proper latino groups and carry the same latino aproved message. Do we all have to fit into certain race and special interest groups in order to be taken seriously? Give me a break. If that were true this blog would be full of social conservative messages in order for me to 'fit in" to the white conservative groups of the state and country.

I am not sure that Mr. Mino was aware that he had to run his posts throught the Latino Bloggers commisson in charge of "keeping it real"

I guess that hit counts are more important than people to some.
