I know it is hot out but do you think you could be a little less trashy than you have been this week?  The amount of trash that I have seen on the highway and in the yards of some of you closeted WT jocoians is terrible.  Do you not have any pride in yourselves damn it?  There was a time when the JO on your license plate meant something.  It meant that we were better than the rest of the metro, we know how to bathe,  our houses don't have cardboard windows and our kids read at a 3rd grade level at 1st grade (not graduation kcmo).  

This morning on my way to work I saw for the 3rd day in a row a mattress on the shoulder of 435.  I saw a house on the corner of a neighborhood with more crap in their driveway and side yard than most people have inside.  That same house had a truck parked and RUNNING in the side yard. It is sickening.  Another thing, garage sales are suppose to last for a day or two NOT A FREAKING MONTH YOU DIRTY BASTARDS.

If you are incapable of living up to our standards then take your asses back to Wyco and KCMO.  

P.S.  It is not ok to put an above ground pool in your front yard. 

How Hip Hop has let us down

I think I have finally figured out why there are more people dying at a higher rate than ever in most cities in America. The answer was so simple that I am embarrassed that it took so long for me to piece together. Bare with me here for a minute because the answer might not be new but the reasoning behind it is. 

RAP MUSIC... SURPRISE. Ok, you aren't surprised, keep reading.

Those of us that grew up in the 80's and 90's witnessed the explosion of hip hop music and its impact on society. We all heard stories about drug dealing, being a gangster, drive by shootings, pimping, car jacking and day to day living on the coasts. To people in LA and NYC these stories weren't glamorous tales of the lifestyle, no they were tales about how F'd up life was where they lived and the problems that they faced.

Some might say that they were putting together both the play book and survival guide for the rest of the nation to follow.  Kids today don't hear "How to Survive in South Central", "The Code of the streets", "Triggers got no heart", "Loves going to getcha", "Gangsta, Gangsta" and of course "Colors".  As a result the murder rate is skyrocketing across the nation including cities that you never woulda thought would hit such high numbers.  

Without the proper training on drive by shooting, drug dealing and gang banging can we expect anything else?  The education that today's MC's are providing is laughable.  They talk about having money, cars and women but not how to get there from the hood and live to tell about it.  

They were filling in where school districts like the KCMOSD was failing.  

The school districts have let the communities and kids down in these areas.  They were screwed from the day they enrolled in Kindergarten to the day they dropped out in 10th grade.  Luckily they had Votech teachers like Ice Cube, Spice 1, Scarface, KRS One, CMW etc.. to show them how to make a living in their environment.  Ice Cube told them to get a 9 and they would be fine so they did. Scarface taught them how to slang rock on the corner and Ice-T taught them how to pimp hoes. I think we all know not to get high off of our own supply don't we?  Do you think kids today do?  Hell no.

Todays kids don't have the playbook and are simply making up street rules as they go.  The only thing that they understand is that snitchin is bad.  They see someone with a little money and kill them and take a little cash and territory from them.  Teach a kid to slang and he can slang forever, teach a kid to shoot and well, he is living week to week.  

MC's like Lil Wayne, Drake, Kanye West etc.. are letting us down and not providing the service that they should.

Take a look a the "headlines" section of their webpage.   Do you see the story "Conservatives make it rough for business"?  Or how about the 
"Many voters may be dettered by Tough voter id laws" 

It appears that the liberal staff over at KCTV5 are trying to pass off 
liberal editorials as actual NEWS.

Any conservative worth a damn will stop watching that channels news for their propaganda 

The Wire - All Star Edition

I have stopped doing this section of the blog for awhile now because of the depressing nature of the city's violence but I have to post now.  Have you thought about what the national media is seeing about our city while here covering the All Star Game?  Look at these headlines and ask yourself if you would want to live/vacation here.

1.  Customer Service is lacking if you get murdered in KCMO.
2.  Retirement age for KC metro criminals has moved to 75.
3.  18 month old baby  is basically killed by her psycho mom
4.  The term "rolling gun battle" is always good for the tourist indusry

Independence Day my ass

Reminder:  Today we are celebrating our Independence from England, not our personal independence which no longer exists in this country.  From the time we wake up to the time we go back to sleep every aspect of our lives is controlled by a branch of the government.  Whether its the food that you eat for breakfast, the type of gas you fill your car up with in the morning, the speed in which you drive to work, your over regulated business, the length of your lunch, what can be said on the radio you listen to etc.  the government owns your ass.  

In any given day you can be fined, taxed or restricted by city, county, state and federal governments.  They do this for "your own good" and because Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Borat and John Roberts all love you so much.

KC Media Reruns

The KC media has never been anything to brag about but lately it just seems like they have gotten even lazier and more stagnant that usual.  If you tune into the local radio show and columns all that you hear or read are stories that the local blogs have covered months ago being spun into "late breaking" stories.  Either these folks suck at show prep or they are completely out of touch with what is really going on in this town.  I will let you decide.
