Today at lunch I walked down Troost with a note card saying stop the violence. I hope that my march will be as productive as the one 3 weeks ago on Prospect.

AMERICA IS IN TROUBLE

Our country is in serious trouble both foreignly and domestically and some of you bastards want to hand it over to OBAMA? Nearly a year ago I mentioned on this blog that we could be heading to another World War. In that post I mentioned the economic uncertainty of our country and the military growth of our enemies. As I skim the headlines I can't help but wonder how close we are to the end of our freedoms.

1. Bush & Democrats advance our economy to socialism.

2. Chavez & Putin aim to put nukes in South America (aimed at the United States)

3. Chinese have first space walk.

4. Automakers get bailout? WTF!

5. Government is taking over our economy.

6. Dems find another way to redistribute wealth.

7. Matt Blunt has to fight off Obama's KGB tactics.

8. Seperation of Church and State no longer exist.

9. Personal Carbon monitoring could be coming to the United States. HOLY CRAP BIG BrOTHER!

10. Terrorist on the seas.

With all this going on do we really want to elect a freaking community activist that doesn't even have a track record in that? Good lord people, wake the F*** up!

JUST HOW VIOLENT IS THE METRO?

With the help of CrimeSceneKC I have come up with some rough statistics that MIGHT shock some of you. Since the KCMO police department is trying to hide its statistics (cook the books) these aren't exactly scientific facts.

1. Somebody is murdered every other day in the metro.

2. Somebody is shot or stabbed every 7 hours.

3. Nobody seems to give a crap. This statistic came from the fact that the murder rate keeps going up every month.

THE WIRE

I JUST KNEW SUNDAY WOULD BE A BIG DAY. While the rest of you were getting robbed at church the fine East Side Citizens were hard at work.

1. You gotta love it when Drive by shootings start hitting the Burbs (in Mo). Maybe there will be some attention paid to the crime problem the more this happens.

2. "Gun Battle" at 47th and Elmwood. Add elmwood to the streets I wouldn't of know about had there not been a shooting.

3. Having a Cash America store on Truman road is not really a good idea. Here is a tip, if you put a cash store in a neighborhood full of people that have no cash you WILL GET ROBBED.

What a weekend so far! Keep up the good work fellas, we are counting on you to set records, ruin the lives of families, scare off business, increase the drug trade and ruin communities.

1. East side crime is starting to take its toll on KCMO's entertainment districts. How long will it be before the fine residents of JOCO abandon Westport and the P&L district? Is getting drunk in an "Urban environment" really worth risking your life over? HEelllllllllllllllll no. JOCO men will soon realize that it is not worth risking life and limb to pick up skanky Missouri chicks. And JOCO women will soon realize that it is not worth sleeping with Missouri guys to get back at their fathers.

2. This guy might have the worst aim & luck in the metro.

3. Independence keeps on being Independence. Poor kid.

4. More baby mama drama on our TV screens. Can we make it one day without an amber alert?

5. Wierd and tragic. That is the only way to describe what happened in the KCK police department this weekend.
