When I travel the first thing I do when I get to a new city is grab the local paper and watch the evening news.  Could you imagine what a visitor to our city must think? 


1.  For those of you that don't know, NE KCK probably won't ever be photographed for a postcard.  You could of asked this guy but he is dead.  


2.  Poor people in Independence eat too much. 


3.  Wyco employees forced to take Columbus day off, without pay.  


4.  Did all of these KCMO leaders get train sets for Christmas?  


5.  Minimum wage data entry clerk just cost the city 15 million dollars.  NICE!

GREEN UPDATE

One has to ask what all of these worshipers of grass will do now that the green movement is dead? Will there be a mass suicide led by Al gore where the all drink poisoned wheat grass shots?

Or maybe they will tell us that the cheetah is endangered due to global cooling and that the deserts are shrinking due to carbon emissions?

Either way, these douche bags are finally on their way out.

Let me state for the record that I took Nancy Raegans words to heart and have always said no to drugs. Having said that, I have also been in support of the legalization of the product for the past 10 years. Think about it. The government says it is ok to drink and smoke (both of which are addictive and could kill people) yet they say no to weed? This doesn't make sense.

Republicans crack me up. They pretend to be for limited government UNLESS it is something that they want to restrict. Conservatives, don't fall for this trap. If you don't want the government telling you which doctor you should use and which medicine to take why let them tell you this as well?
