The Star has a story today asking for people to help put together school supplies for homeless kids.  Is this the best we can do for these kids?  A protractor and a #2 pencil?  Why not ask for help with the real problem instead of putting together school supplies to make yourself feel better.  These kids want a roof and the best that we can do is this?
