Let's Face it dumping Beck was nothing more than 980 pandering to their 2 biggest Beck haters, Shannin and Parks.  980 has a history of ruining radio in this town at the 9am and 2pm (not to mention the other Entercom abortions in KC) time slots and this is just another prime example of it.

SHANIN AND PARKS - WHY LISTEN?

Over the past couple of weeks I have been able to avoid listening to most AM radio.  Sure I missed a couple of shows, the 810 morning show and Petros program and Darla Jaye. Yesterday at 2pm and again today I decided to give the two ripoff artists another chance and well that was a huge mistake.  


Yesterday I sat and listened to 980 make a mountain out of a mole hill with the pathetic snowfall that we received.  I assume that this was to go along with there over the top coverage of a winter storm that happened almost two freaking weeks ago and the snow removal.  To listen to them you would of thought that a nuke had landed in Downtown KC and we were all doomed.   


Then today things returned to politics.  I had to listen to these two unoriginal hosts recap stories that other more credible journalists had covered to death and their pathetic claims to be conservative.  

IF YOU HAVE A 4 HOUR SHOW EVERY WEEKDAY AND YOU HAVE TO TRY AND CONVINCE CONSERVATIVES THAT YOU ARE CONSERVATIVE THEN WELL, YOU AREN'T CONSERVATIVE.

Just admit that you are moderates and quit the charade.  You might get some credibility back.  

THE WIRE - SCOTT PARKS EDITION

Today one of the most ignorant people to take to the KC airwaves said that the crime coverage in this city did not represent the Kansas City he knows.  I guess S.cott thinks that the people in East KCMO don't count and that the crime that goes in in those neighborhoods doesn't affect the city as a whole.  What an irresponsible jack ass.  Does he live in Wonka land? 



1.  Bullets fly in the East side hitting 2 people that in the mind of Scott Parks aren't worth covering.

Could someone please tell me how this guy ended up on the air discussing politics? KMBZ needs to move Beavis and Butthead out and put Darla Jaye in that time slot. Neal & Marty think that show is bad.

If you tune into 980 KMBZ right now you will hear Mike Shannon and Scott Parks engage in a pornographic act while defending Obama. It is sickening to hear two supposed Republicans destroy the party and conservative commentators on a daily basis.

I think that Scott Parks believes that Admiral Obama drew up the attack plan and pulled the trigger on the recent pirate rescue.

QUICK HITS - BANDWAGON

As I listen to Mike Shannon and Scott Parks go on hour two of tea party discussions I have to ask myself, self, why are they discussing this? They weren't in favor of them, Scott Parks has made every effort to discredit these events and Mike Shannon is clueless. YET they have no problem profiting off of them.

These so called Republicans are doing everything in their power to tear apart the new conservative movement because they can't come up with show ideas of their own. These guys are to worried about their face book page and T-Shirt and Coffee mug giveaways to understand the real issues that people care about.


1. Why do all liberals that work for the government look like Peppermint Patty or a TV drag queen? The chick that has called us terrorist is no exception.

8. The man that caused these two chicks to throwdown has some pretty sick taste. One is a 15 year old girl and the other is a chick stuck in a wheelchair. Well the chick in the wheel chair went road warrior and stabbed the teen to death. The Lesson to this story is to never trust people in wheel chairs.

I can't believe that I heard this clown call Glen Beck a stuttering idiot. What an idiot. Not only does he attack one of the best voices conservatives have right now BUT isn't Beck on 980 in the mornings?

Each and everyday a little bit more of the truth comes out about Parks and what he TRULY believes. If liberal radio produced high ratings this empty suit would claim to of been at Woodstock.

BABY BOOMER REPUBLICANS

If you look through the recent history of the Republican Party it isn't hard to see what segment of our population has destroyed our party, the Baby Boomers. Now I am not saying that the whole group of them are to blame, just 90% of them. If you look through congress and state governments it seems that the most liberal of Republicans seem to of grown up during the Hippie Era.

As a party it is time that we kicked these people out of our party and out of our media outlets. I am sick and tired of watching the spineless wimps of our party make nice with the socialist and destroy our own. I am sick and tired of listening to members of our own party move our message to the left therefore making it harder to tell the difference in ideas. SEE JOHN MCCAIN

Next time you hear someone from the Baby Boomer era tearing down their own party ask them to leave it. We don't need or want them anymore.

And the next time any of you call into 980 and speak with Scott Parks please tell him to stop calling himself a Republican. This guy is a wolf in sheeps clothing.
