What I have been watching

This summer many of us were forced to do something that we never thought we would do between May and September, watch TV.  If you live in JOCO it was the heat that forced you in and in KCMO it was the bullets, either way we were screwed.  So now that summer is done and over with I thought I would share with you the crap that kept my attention on TV this summer. 

1.  Top Shot - History Channel
2.  American Pickers - History Channel
3. Phineas & Ferb - Disney Channel - I started watching this show with the kids and was surprised at how funny it actually was.
4.  The Wire - I have been going back through the series with the HBO on Demand feature.
5.  Pawn Stars - History Channel -  I just started watching this show and it isn't bad for summer TV.
6.  The World Cup - The highlight of summertime TV this year had to be the World Cup.
7.  Wipeout - I use to watch the Japanese version of this show on Spike TV and this is every bit as good as that was.  
8.  Food Channel - Pretty much any of the shows that cover BBQ, Dives etc..
9.  The All Star Game
10.  Entourage 
11.  And the best of them all Treme

1. Both are in old run down buildings
2. Both populations are split up amongst race
3. Both have metal detectors at the doors
4. Both are full of people that never graduate from High School.
5. Both are run by corrupt and incompetent people
6. If you get in trouble you go to solitary
7. People are released without rehabilitation/education because of over crowding.
8. Private companies do a better job of running both
9. There is a 50/50 chance of getting shanked in the yard.
10. Both are the last place you want your children to end up

Since I started this blog back up I decided to start listening to Rino & Rino at 2pm on KMBZ for a week.  While the two idiots (claiming to be conservatives) haven't changed a bit buy the callers sure have.  The ass kissing has decreased and the reality check has started.  Finally KC listeners have caught up and realized what embarrassments these two are to the Republican party.

Their smugness and arrogance is getting out of control. They shout down callers, hang up on people and laugh at the people that basically pay their salaries ( not much different than a liberal elitist right?).  The more that these two have talked the more exposed they have become and before long they will suffer the same fate as talk show hosts before them (see Tom Becka).
