FAN MAIL

When I got a comment from the idiotic burnout I thought for sure he was kidding. I mean how can one blog get under the skin of one person so much? With all there is to read on the internet why would one person spend so much time reading a blog that obviously makes them teeter even closer to slitting their wrists than they were before? Then I read his "blog" for the first time today and realized that he has sand permanently lodged in his vagina and all that he does is bitch about bloggers.

Mr. Burnout, thank you for your reading and for your blog post. It is always nice to get fan mai (how many idiotic comments have you left here?)l. I can only hope that you continue to read mine and the other blogs that you mention in hopes that one day you can become a better more adjusted person.

Until that time please feel free to ues the coupon that I have attached. I hope that it will provide you with some temporary relief from your problem.

I finally finished reading this book written by Jason King. If you are a Jayhawk fan and haven't bought or read this book pleas pull your head out of your ass and go to this SITE and get it. Or if you bought it and want to leave a comment for the man, do it.

THE WIRE - WEEKEND RECAP

If ever there was a time in your life that you were thankful to live in "the golden ghetto" (as the ghetto living haters like to call it) it would be this weekend. I get a kick out of people in KCMO that say that their community has more culture than JOCO, they are right, they have a Culture of Violence.

1. Westport continues to dig its own grave. Pretty soon even the drunks, sluts and wannabes will stop going there. 2 shot.

2. KCMO gang squad sucks at hiding its identity.

3. Spring hill man rapes 11 year old.

4. 43rd and Garfield is just like 143rd and Nall...............

5. Man robs Lee's Summit bank with a note. It's too bad the teacher didn't catch it first.

6. Ice Cube wouldn't even work at this KCK Barber shop. 2 shot, 1 killed, NEXT.

7. KCK is off the hook. Within 7 hours there were 3 shootings, 2 dead and 3 more injured. WOW!

8. Truman road produces another dead body.

9. Never bring a fist to a gunfight. 1 dead, 1 injured on Cleavland.

10. 4 more shot in KCMO. HOLY CRAP.

THANK GOD THERE WERE NO CATS KILLED AND NO SIGNS OF A SERIAL KILLER.

BTKitty & THE KC MEDIA

It has been amazing the types of responses I have gotten in regards to the media driving out to Lawrence to cover the death of the cat. Those that "covered" the story were quick to post links pointing out that sometimes people that kill animals turn into serial killers. They said that people needed to be warned and that well the other station was covering it.

I find it funny that these "reporters" know so much information about the history of serial killers but wouldn't be able to tell you anything about street gangs, selling drugs, buying weapons on the streets etc... Why is that? Do they lack the skill and courage to take on serious issues or is it that they don't give a crap about the viewers or more fitting the LACK of viewers in that area.

Instead of standing in front of a street sign reading a script while the camera man shows footage of flashing lights and crime tape how about you get off your ass's and dig into these stories. Why drive to Lawrence to cover the killing of a cat and the possibility that ONE DAY MAYBE he will kill a couple of people? Is one person killing a few people more serious than several people killing over 100 and shooting over 100 or so more?

I understand the most of you are simply hired to look good on camera and read a script that has been handed to you but don't you have any pride? How can you go into these neighborhoods every night shoot some footage and then leave without WANTING to help these folks? Instead your TV and Radio stations spend hundreds of hours researching swinger parties, sex clubs etc... COWARDS!

Another thing, I could give a crap about how many hits I get (even though I probably get more than you do on your website) I have a real job, this is simply a hobby, yet I do a better job at my hobby than you do in your profession.

If you look to the right hand side of this blog you will find a blogroll full of people that are more in touch and better skilled at discussing what is going on. People that understand this city, live in this city and truly care about this city. Most of you will be gone in a couple of years either moving into a bigger market or dropping into a lower market. We will still be here.

This is not a blanket post, I know for a fact that there are good reporters, broadcasters, producers and wrtiers in this city. There are great people at KCTV 5, FOx 4, KSHB, Channel 9, KMBZ and 710. So if you read this do not take it as a shot at you, we need more of you.

WHEN KEEPING IT GREEN GOES WRONG

Those of you that continue to follow the religion of Green crack me up. Take this idiot out in LA for example... He thought that by storing his garbage in his house for over a year that he was reducing his carbon footprint.

If that were the case then there are a lot of Carbon Friendly houses in the East Side.

QUICK HITS

10 stories that you need to read today.

1. Who woulda thought that talk of Gang Raping Palin would get you fired? I thought that Bernhard was dead? Or was that just her career?

2. Harry dipsh*t Reid does his best to sink Wall Street even further.

3. Levis wants you to "Unbutton your beast". I personally like Sock Nasty, werd. THIS IS A MUST SEE LINK

4. At least Obama is staying away from special interest groups....Oops.

5. How does shooting your arm help you have sex?

6. Mexicans are passionate about their protesting

7. There is something wrong with America if a Lingerie model can't get out of a ticket. This means that the rest of us have no chance.

8. NFL players make great drug dealers.

9. These are the only people in Senate with half a brain.

10. This story is just sick. This guy needs to be tortured before death.

THE WIRE

It appears that we are back on track in the metro and the effectiveness of my walk down troost was greatly over estimated.

1. The east side is finally off the bench and back in the game putting points on the board. Linwood & Gillham.

2. KCK residents seem to have a Dollar Store Robbery Fetish. Exactly how much money does one expect to steal when they are robbing the DOLLAR store? I know that the Dollar Store is the Nordstroms of KCK but come on....

3. I am not sure that 24th and Cottownwood Creek(KCK) would be safe at 12:30pm let alone 12:30 am.

4. The only click that Missouri teens are hearing is that of a handgun trigger. I for one have been wearing my seatbelt ever since DT died and never wore it before that.

5. Raytowna Beach joggers are not safe. Who knew?

6. Any time a liberal talks about voter registration you know that there is a crime about to be committed, so this story goes here.

7. A crime was actually reported on Quindaro. HOLY CRAP! I have friends on the KCK police department and they said that the reason that you never hear about how bad it really is in that part of town is due to nobody calling it in. They have been numbed to it.

8. As if the wife of the Mayor doesn't have enough problems. I heard her on the radio last week and she made my skin crawl.

TOP TEN SIGNS THAT FALL HAS HIT JOCO

I have been inspired by Midtowns ability to capture fall in Midtown.

1. Influx of KCK/KCMO school kids working day shifts at retail establishments due to JOCO kids leaving their summer jobs for college.

2. Festivals - The towns of JOCO love to put on a festival to show off to our neighbors to the North and East that we (unlike them) are capable of having more than 20 people in a street event without gunfire.

3. Christmas Items in Stores - I was at Target the other day and they had just as much Christmas stuff up as they did Halloween.

4. Trick or Treating - Every year bus loads (not kidding) of inner city youth get dropped off in our neighborhoods to ask for Candy. Sure we here in JOCO have some houses with great halloween decorations but aren't their neighborhoods truly scary. The only Halloween decoration I plan on putting up is a street sign in front of my house that says 40th and Prospect.

5. School Fund Raisers - This is the biggest shakedown in US history. Not only do we pay taxes for public schools, enrollment fees, activity fees etc.. but now we get to buy over priced candy bars and crappy giftwrap to support the schools. Hell even the Mafia only collected once.

6. Teenagers driving at rush hour - Do I really need to expand on Biff & Amber driving their new Lexus at 100mph through school zones while eating or putting on makeup?

7. Lawn Care Wars - This is the time of season in which the competition picks up between neighbors and their lawns. From leaf pick up to fertilization, this is where the rubber meets the road. Those who have neglected their lawns all spring and summer will be dubbed trash by the rest of the neighborhood.

8. Charity Drives - This is the time of year in which the calls start coming into JOCO residents to help save KCMO. Every year the fine upstanding residents reach into their pockets and donate Hundreds of thousands of dollars to feed and clothe those living in the East side. We do this despite their hatred for us and ask for nothing in return (except for a tax write off).

9. Election signs - Oh yes my favorite. Each fall we get to see the wonderful display of election signs in yards and on the corners of busy intersections. I always find it a great way to find out who the commies are in the neighborhood.

10. Layoffs at Sprint are on the Horizon. Sure this can be said about every season but the fall layoffs always seem to be the biggest and best hidden.

THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR

THE WIRE

My march down troost continues to pay dividends.

1. Oh brother, KSHB tops KCTV's worthless cat story with a story about an underage kid buying beer. Seriously people, is this our biggest freaking problem in the city! Who GIVES A CRAP!

2. Are the fast food bandits making a comeback? Sonic robbed in Methside.

3. Bullying prevention program??...........The wussification continues.

4. Finally, a neighborhood in the east side that is doing more than marching against crime.

5. Fat chick in Olathe kidnapped. Maybe Herman Edwards kidnapped her so that she could play on the offensive line.

6. Precious Doe trial is set to start. This guy should have his head cut off with hedge trimmers.
