My dear friends we are back with our reviews of the Immigration Challenges that our country faces every day when thousands of illegal workers cross the border looking for the American dream. I started this review so early before even the congress will start the reading the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act because it is important for us to know what is coming , it is better to forecast challenges and be ready to fight against or in favor. That decision is yours please go back to my last articles and review what social, and safety risk can bring to our country the NEW amnesty and the idea of President Obama to allow this entire people to become USA Citizens. Once again I am not against the reform I just want to be sure that the final output of that process won’t bring a negative impact to our nation.
Once before; I was talking with a community leader from other State and he was very upset with me because as part of our conversation I told him “If one day the United States of America will fall and the Union separated, won’t be because political division, won’t be because the terrorist plans or international armed conflicts, won’t be because a natural disaster. It will be because the Immigration Problem” Nothing will divide us more that a wrong Immigration reform or process.
We are placing or giving important post within the American Government to people that preach against our country, people that disagree with our system, and people that have no pride to be an American Citizen. Let’s review the facts:
Hilary Clinton: She appointed Yzaguirre as co chair of her presidential campaign, and as her senior advisor on how to reach the Hispanic vote. We are talking the same person that strongly fights against the assimilation of Hispanics into the American system and he does support illegal immigration.
President Obama: Appointed Mrs. Cecilia Munoz currently serving as Vice-President of La Raza, and at the same time she is the Director of President Obama’s Office of International Affairs.
And the following person whom once said: “ I want the third, fourth, fifth even the seven generation and all future generation of Hispanics to think “Mexico First” that guy is Juan Hernandez whom was appointed by Senator McCain as a Hispanic outreach Director, now he is walking and visiting President Obama as a consultant for the new Immigration Reform.
My dear friends lets listen and think what the Mexican President (Ernesto Zedillo) is telling his citizens “I have proudly affirm that the Mexican nation extends beyond the territory enclosed by its borders, and the Mexican migrants legal or illegal are a very important factor and part of this statement” Now to me it sounds like an “undercover” invasion of Mexico to USA. Starting in 1990 the Mexican government has started hundreds of plans or initiatives to “import” the Mexican culture into our country they even announced in 1995 (this I am quoting from the book Liberty and Tyranny) “ The Mexican nation extends it borders into the USA. Accordingly, the government would strengthen solidarity programs with the Mexican community abroad by emphasizing their Mexican roots, and supporting literacy programs in Spanish and teaching of the Mexican history values and more important traditions of Mexico”
I am leaving you today with one more thing to think about it: Zogby International a well know company for their well done, full extended surveys, professional and ethical analysis reported the results of a survey done in 2002-2003 where the 58% of Mexicans in American territory agree with the following statement “The territory of the United States’ southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico”.
Now it is up to you! You can be indifferent to the new Immigration Reform or start talking and giving the proper advice to your Representatives and Senators.

To give a massive total amnesty and making to all the undocumented worker American citizens can generate some “collateral damage” to our country and society.

We need the worker that is a fact, industries such us the landscaping, roofing, hospitality, and others need from these individuals to be there to provide the necessary service and stay in business. They will benefit by receiving the legal status as well all the industries where they like to work. The only think about the citizenship is that the new immigrants, they did nothing to learn to speak our language and they do not care about our culture and they do not recognize or respect our system, and the reasons for doing that are simple:

The level of education: Most of the Mexican and illegal workers are farmers without or with a minimum of education most of then even unable to read and write in their Spanish language.

Regional concentration: By tradition they will look for cities or states where they can find more folks from their own country, with this there is no reason or need to learn the language, they can find stores and services where there is no need to speak English.

Government regulations: Government facilities and business MUST have document in Spanish and English, our new immigrant can find all the information on their native language, why should they learn the “gringo’s talk”?

With all the above mentioned “we” the Latinos or Hispanic are creating a permanent risk or a strong threat to divide this country in to two different cultures, people and languages. Talking about traditions: Do you realize that we DO NOT longer celebrate USA Flag Day but WE DO CELEBRATE Cinco de Mayo and other Hispanic festivities. I will take you to lunch if you will mention ONE country in the World where their citizens will celebrate 4 of July, as you celebrate Cinco de Mayo o El Dia de la Raza (Columbus Day). The answer in NONE there is NO ONE!

Raul Yzaguirre”s Factor:, a former President and CEO of an Hispanic Organization call the National Council of la Raza is the one that said “U.S. English is to Hispanic as the KKK is to blacks” and Do you know that AMERICAN Foundations and organization are the mayor contributor of donations to this group that tireless and aggressively works against the assimilation of Legal and illegal Hispanic into the American Society? This people call America a Racist Nation; push for favoritism in the workplace, education and business only because one factor: racial and ethnic identity. It means if you have better education then myself…sorry I am Latino I must get the job! I must get the government contract! I must have priority to attend college and get less expensive tuition. They strongly support amnesty and U.S. citizenship to Illegal immigrants. They do support also the DREAM Act that is designed to allow illegal students to attend school as In-state resident’s tuition.

La Raza is requesting that all the States MUST issued drivers licenses for illegal worker, they want from the illegal to have the right to vote. Do you know that the “Mexican ID” (La Matricula Consular) now is a legal document in USA to open bank accounts and to perform other transaction? But my Lenexa PD Volunteer Police ID it is not recognize or valid as Identification Card at the same bank!

And the last incredible think: La Raza opposes (with the support of several Democrats Senators and Representatives) the CLEAR Law Enforcement for Criminal Alien Removal Act, If passing this Act will allow our local law enforcement agencies to enforce immigration Laws. They are untouchables, the have more security and better protection then you and myself as normal citizens. GO ahead! Mr Obama. Go ahead Democrats and your Party give amnesty to them and let’s surrender our country to them!

Here it goes…as I promised you on my last article. Let’s review some facts so we can clarify some misconceptions about Immigration and Immigrants:

Fact One: All or the majority of Latino or Hispanics are democrats! WRONG! On the last Presidential elections 60% of the Cuban American supported McCain in all states where the Cuban and Caribbean immigrants is dominant. Locally in the states of Kansas and Missouri 70% of Latinos supported and voted for McCain including my self! Actually according with the Pew Hispanic Center’s Magazine on 12-09-07 after a long interpretation of the surveys’ data and interview with future adult Latino voters they (P. Taylor and R. Fry) found that 41% of the new adult Latino voters said ”there is no difference between or they do not understand the difference between the two parties”. The Problem with some Latinos is that they pick America as “life saver” destination to escape socialist or lefty government and they get confused between the words “democracy” and “democrat” you may said it is lost in translation challenge. They brought bad experience from their countries they don’t want and they are scare of dictators, communist or socialist officials, they lost family members and friends with their country’s civil wars, guerrillas movements etc, and the word “democrat:” for them is to close to democracy. (This is my own opinion).

Fact Two: Latinos and Hispanic leaders and citizens always support Immigrations reforms: WRONG:I will use a extract from the book Liberty and Tyranny (Mark R Levin) and other resources to review this fact: In 1960 Cesar Chavez a Hispanic Labor Leader, Union Icon and Founder of the UFW (United Farm Workers) Union, He did show a strong opposition of illegal immigration, he will argue that Illegal workers will undermine his efforts to unionize farm workers. The working conditions and wages for American Citizens and Legal workers will be in risk because the illegal worker takes whatever is there as He can have a job. Mr. Cesar Chavez requested to all members of the unions to turn illegal workers with the INS (Immigration) the UFW became the best resource of immigration to identify and catch illegal workers, the UFW was the best “organized” whistle blower system for the INS. The historical march of 1969 Cesar Chavez and other organizations such us: SCLC (Southern Christian Leadership Conference) and with the support of the Honorable Senator Mondale they marched along the border with Mexico to express their discontent with all farmers hiring illegal workers and even seasonal immigrant workers. (One day I will bring some facts about the “Bracero” program) This program is the root of the current H2B-H2A Temporary or Seasonal Visas Programs.

Fact Three: Immigration can not affect the results of general and Presidential Elections. WRONG, very wrong! The Unions are having a big problem with their membership, they see a big decline of the numbers and income for new membership, that is why they are focusing on helping and support the passing of immigration amnesty or reforms, after gaining legal status the immigrant workforce can join the Unions, immigration is the newest resource for political powers to the unions, once again from Levin’s books whom quote Samuel Lubell when he said This new voting machine ended the traditional Republican and Conservative thought process of our nation. The last election’s results (national percentage) show that 67% of the Latino voters voted for the New President. ” The voting age children of the first great migration constituted the big city masses furnishing the votes which RE-ELECT F.D. Roosevelt again and again”.What it means is that this election’s output is one more time the result of immigration reform the 1986 IRCA Act that granted one-time amnesty to 3 million of illegal workers. The democrats will support the new Immigration Reform to secure the re-lection and who knows the continuity in the power of President Obama and/or their Party, just like the socialists Chavez-Venezuela, Correa-Ecuador , Lula–Brazil, Morales-Bolivia, the new socialist leaders do not want and they do not allow the power to away. Did you listening carefully what President Obama said about Russia “Our soon to be Partner”? Are you scare, concern and confuse? My advice: follow this new Reform very close.

My dear American Brother and Sister you know by all the means that I am an immigrant, my home town Ecuador is in the center of the world (Equatorial Line) and now I am an American Citizen living in the heart of American.

I was welcome to this Country and the best lessons of leadership, personal responsibility I learned in this great country that is why I always like introduce my self as “Born in Ecuador but Made in America”. Here is where American leaders taught me the importance of continuing with the principles, moral, values that the framers and fathers of our country leave us as a eternal and patriotic legacy.

I went step by step from all the Immigration process, first entering legally to USA by using the American visa issued by the USA Consulate Office in Quito and with the “Entry/Departure document” issued by the Immigration authorities in the Airport (Houston TX), later on by getting my Employment Authorization Card and my social security number that will made me eligible to work in USA, waiting for several year and moving up the “Temporary Permanent Resident” doing the things right sometimes feels like punishment because immigration will request from you to wait until the cap of visas availability for your country will allow you to receive the resident status, you can not go back to your country during this process, it mean you can not exit the country not even for emergency situations, you must go to several meeting, the process is expensive, fingerprints, interviews, background and criminal investigation and more, and after several years of waiting I did receive my “Permanent Resident Card”, after this great step you must wait 3 to 5 years before you can apply for your American Citizenship, as follows: If your spouse in an American Citizen you wait only 3 years if not the 5 years waiting applies to you. You start another long process with more fingerprinting, interviews and a TEST on Civics, History and American Government, the final step is a face to face interview with the immigration Judge where you must show your “proficiency” in speaking, understanding, writing and reading in English, after passing all the mentioned requirements you wait for your “Ceremony of Citizenship “This is the greatest day of a immigrant’s life, this day you do your Oath as Citizen of USA. It takes a little longer too before you can receive the invitation to arrive in the mail, long process, very long but worthy process, by the way if you get in trouble will the law at any time of this long process you can loose everything they can stop you process up to deportation.

You must be asking to your self: Why is Angelo telling us all these details? Who cares about this immigrant Processes? My answer is: If you call your self an American Citizen you better open your eyes and se how the Democrat Party and President Obama wants to utilize the Immigration Reform as a tool of Continuity in the Government and re-election.

I will show that it happened before and was use by the democrats and they are ready to use it again!

I am not against the Immigration reform, there are a great number of immigrants that care, love and respect this country they are welcome to be part of our great American Experiment, but I am against that this Immigration Reform they will be will allow (undocumented, illegal immigrants) to qualify for Citizenship. I quote what President Obama said “We need to work for a way to give the citizenship status to the 12 million of illegals living in our Country”

I do believe one of the “legal” punishment for entering illegally and remain as illegal should be the Denial of Citizenship opportunities, they can have their permanent status as it is now under the Immigration and Naturalization Act. And renew their legal status every 10 years.

I do know several people that are currently permanent residents that they DO NOT want to applied for Citizenship and they just want to remain legally working in USA as Permanent Residents and they are great, honest and hard working individuals, people with strong work ethics and looking for a permanent self-development opportunities to make that American dream to be a true thing in their life.

Coming back to the undocumented Immigrants: They have to pay a fine, this fine should be proportional with number of years that they were illegally working in USA( some with different names and without paying taxes), This will generate millions of dollars to the government (12 millions X $ 3,000) , plus the normal application fees (12 millions X $ 750). I hope that all that money is allocated to save, solve, support and recuperate the bad Social Security and Federal Reserve.

Please Come back next weekend and I will show you how President Obama and the liberals wants to use this reform as a re-lection tool and I will give you specifics and facts on how they did this before. Do you remember the “New Deal”?

You will see that even Cesar Chavez the Union Leaders for the Mexican and agriculture workers was against and he was very vocal about showing his discontent with illegal immigration and immigration amnesty, To tell you a big true: The best ever whistle blowers for the Immigration were Chavez’ himself , his people and union leaders.

I will show you that there is an individual whom is right now acting as President Obama’s “Immigration consultant” and he was very, I will say very extremely close collaborator with the former President Vicente Fox’s government, yep! A Mexican corrupted politician in the White House helping to the “Gringo’s President”. I will bring names and facts.
