David Wysong - Please leave the Republican Party

Today I stumbled upon a link to a story dealing with a state wide smoking ban in Kansas and couldn't believe who wrote it. I am use to reading stories dealing with people wanting to take away your personal freedoms but they are usually from liberal wackos, not this time. It was a Republican.

I had to do a google search in order to find out who in fact David Wysong was and it turns out that he is a a REPUBLICAN State senator for Kansas(mission hills district). Does our party need people like this representing us? How does the Republican party continue to let leftist socialist enter its ranks? If Wysong wants to be a state senator, fine but let him run as a democrat or an independent.

This guy is letting a personal loss in his family effect his legislating ability.

KIDS IN THE NEWS

Are kids safer in schools than at home? It seems that every summer there is an outbreak of crimes against kids and/or crappy parenting. The following stories will make parents across the metro cringe.

1. Anyone that watches the Wire KNOWS that West Baltimore makes the KCMO East Side look like Johnson County. These two kids were shot in a baby pool.

2. Pet snake makes its way into the crib of a 7 month old.

3. 4 year old shoots herself with grandmas gun at Sams Club.

4. Did this Polish baby get a ticket for navigating the birth canal 15 times (blood alch level) over the limit?

5. 13 & 11 year old girls shot several times and left in a ditch to die are found in rural Oklahoma.

6. Mothers mistake nearly drowns kids in car.

BROBECKS BBQ PART 3

I went to this place again (3rd time) in hopes of finding a higher quality of food than the previous 2 visits and all of those in my group were disappointed. They have gotten a little bit better but not nearly enough to make this place a "must eat" BBQ joint. The sausage was decent, the ham salad app was pretty good and the ribs were just average. The only thing that saves this place is the quality of service.

While they are no longer an avoid at all costs type of place they still fall short of making the top 20 list.

BEING SICK SUCKS

Here is an update for those of you keeping score at home. Last Thursday I went to my 6th Doctor and he seemed to be a little bit more on the ball than the previous ass clowns I had been to. He said that with the steroid shot and medications that he gave me that I should start feeling better by this past Sunday...............

Well that didn't work out quite as planned. I was in just as much pain yesterday as I was last Monday. So today I go in for more tests.

Have you hugged a liberal today? This is a question that everyone should be asking themselves after leaving the gas station today. Give them the props they deserve for making gas $4 a gallon in the metro. Going green now means saying good bye to your $$$.

For those of you that think that corporate America is going to be hurt by this, you are wrong. To offset the higher costs that they have to deal with they will simply charge you more and cut employment. This is a minor inconvinience for some but is going to devastate half of the liberal base. What you end up having is the rich elitist liberals killing off the poor dependent liberals... Funny as hell right?

There is now going to be a panel set up by the KCMO city council called "The bike & pedestrian panel". Do we need a panel of the city's "brightest" minds to dictate to us more rules and regulations in order to protect these hobbyist?

If these guys find it too dangerous to ride the city streets then they need to take there ass's to the trails or use the pictured option to the right.
