3.  Raytown continues its downward slide with the drive by shooting of a senior citizen.
4.  Why any cab driver would venture into East KCMO is beyond me.  Murder
5.  Prospect is to murder as Olathe is to white trash. Murder
6.  Raytown is as good of a place as any to get shot.
7.  Double play tonight in the East Side.

Mitchell Guist Dead -- 'Swamp People' Star Dies in Louisiana

His career might of been cut short but it will never be forgotten.  This man could catch gar, turtles and crawdads with the best of them.  His ingenuity was legendary in the swamp and my home with his ability to move house boats and build porches.  We will never forget the way he took the English language to places none thought was possible and made squirrel and dumplings sound like steak and lobster.

I salute you sir!

International Brotherhood of Boilermakers embarrass KC

“While members and their families struggle to make it through this recession, our IBB (International Brotherhood of Boilermakers) leaders have been living high off the hog at members’ expense,” the letter said.

There might not be another organization in American history as crooked and corrupt as unions.  Their leadership demands that their members protest the "Wall Street fat cats" YET they are the ones bending over the working man.
