Really?  Let me say this.  If THAT is what is called RACIST in 2021 then we have all but ended the need for the civil rights movement because we are done.  There is no need for the George Floyd trial, there is no need for affirmative action.  Ministers can collect all of their candles and poster board and Black Twitter (oops) can rejoin regular Twitter despite black folks calling it "Black Twitter".  BET can sign off and Ebony magazine can refund subscribers.

bullshit.  This STL native needs to check himself because he is being exploited by a paper famous for racism, just to stoke racial tensions in the community.  It is one thing to call out the dropping of actual racist terms, I am all for that, but this assclown is playing the role of a divider.  When you cry wolf like this, people will ignore your voice when/if there is actually something of importance to be discussed and you cover it.  

The Toriano Porter name has/is/will now a punchline for stories in the metro when it comes to race.  2 times in 2 months there have been bullshit reports from this guy regarding race and white educators.  2 times his approach has been eye-rolled by black and white residents of the city. Maybe he lacks the talent to cover real racial problems in the metro.  Maybe he doesn't know enough about the history of the community to even understand where to begin.  The Star figured they could bring in random journalists from anywhere in the country (as long as the skin tone made up for their recent racial confessions) and that would be enough.

I guess the bench at The Star isn't all that deep if they had to go out of town to bring in a practice squad player from a smaller market.

ask yourself this question, are you the one that is racist when you read these books and declare that they are racist?  Don't you have to have some preconceived notions on stereotypes to tie innocent children's books to race?  What type of household were you raised in that your ignorant sheltered white liberal ass could come up with such a tie-in?

Is it any surprise that this racist is white, lives in the middle of Kansas(for the past 21 years), and came from a privileged family(Massachusetts elite)?  Does this guy have any understanding of other cultures beyond what he saw on The Cosby Show and Good Times?  He is 51 years old and I am pretty sure that this is the only reference that his uncultured ass has for minorities.  

His only claim to fame in life is exactly this "Dr. Seus is racist", there is nothing else to see in his career.  Nothing.  His Twitter handle reads "Black Lives Matter" because he has nothing else than liberal white guilt.  His White guilt however shows that he in fact only cares about his White Life Mattering.  KState should be ashamed and Kansas taxpayers should demand that they stop paying this man's salary.

With so many other issues involving race in this country, you would think that someone that claimed to care about the black community as much as he does would focus on that.  Not some rhyming children's books.

JOCOians vs. Over Development

 When is a county overdeveloped?  Oh, maybe when you can't purchase a new
home for under 350k and apartment rent is $1400.  Or maybe when it takes you over an hour to commute 10 miles because every highway and sidestreet is at a standstill.  Or maybe when the development consists of nothing more than Walmart/Target, Chipolte, Starbucks, and Asian Massage Parlors.  

The people of Shawnee are the first to take the stand against the developers of the world that want to do nothing more than develop retail spaces and shitty restaurants that will close down 6 months after opening.  Maybe these folks understand that when you make the area nothing more than a big shopping mall that the future consists of slum housing and vacant retail fronts.  The signs of this have been all over JOCO for years.  Just look at what happened to OP north of 119th street. Or PV on 95th street.  BLIGHT.  

Here is a great idea, stop building.  If the area is so attractive then the vacant will fill.  Build a new shiny thing down the road and they will go there.  Build parks and recreational areas instead of freaking Targets.  Greenspace always equals the quality of life and thus attracts businesses that create actual jobs that pay over $20 per hour instead of low-paying retail gigs.

The area was built on jobs, schools, and affordable housing.  Sadly, you have to go to an abandoned bowling area to see any trace of that left in JOCO.  The schools have gone ultraliberal, the jobs are fleeing the area and housing is unaffordable.  BUT what do I know, I only lived there for close to 40 years.

 So, I am browsing through the stories in my feed today and I came across a story
about teenagers of all races and genders coming out on Tik Tok as antiporn. This was the most baffling thing I have read in years.  As a teenage boy growing up pre-internet it was a rare treat if you came across porn and I am not sure I ever knew of anyone that was "antiporn".  Sure there were girls that weren't "fans" but they still freaking looked at the pages (a real champ took notes) and never ran and told anyone that so and so had porn.  If you were against porn, you didn't seek it out or look at it if it was near.  Pretty fucking simple.

Now, our soft as pudding teenagers are taking to Tik Tok of all places, where they dance in thong bikinis to get followers, to cancel porn.  To young people, if they don't like it then it needs to be canceled, banned, burned, looted, etc..  Nobody has ever shown them the off switch.  Nobody has explained to them that there is a such thing as a right to choose unless it comes to a fetus.  I have seen this first hand.  

So good job parents.  You are raising some real winners.  Instead of letting people live and let live you are raising kids that want to dictate what people can watch, read and listen to.
