One has to ask if 980 KMBZ bowed down to special interest groups aimed and bringing down conservative voices in America.  Did "Media Matters'" thugs get advertisers to pull out just as Entercom launched its new News Radio FM station?  The incompetence and spinelessness ( most of the local media knows this and openly discusses it) that exists at Entercom makes one speculate about their true motives.  



Thanks to XM and streaming audio we are no longer held hostage by local broadcasting and we can hit them where it hurts, their pockets.

I received an email awhile back saying that in order for me to get over 100k in visitors and be taken seriously as a conservative blogger that I would need to change my format.  These same douche bags said that they would remove links to my site from their news sites and not mention me in any posts unless I made a few changes to better represent our their movement.

The Wire - The Return

Did  "The Wire" put us on the local blog map?  Damn right it did.  And just like chalk outlines on a spring KCMO day,we are back.

1.  Gun laws didn't prevent this fine upstanding felon from bringing a gun to the Parade. 
2.  Do KCMO residents get dead body disposal with their trash pickup?
3.  Does anyone shed a tear anymore when a gas station (KCK of course) gets robbed? Turnabout is fair play.
4.  No weapons or demand note?  Bank robberies suck nowadays. 
5.  If you break your infants legs in KCMO you will only get probation.
6.  Daylight savings time means earlier robberies and gunshots in South KC.
7.  POS De Soto woman pleads guilty to locking her autistic son in the attic.  The story says that the crime scene photos resembled photos of a concentration camp.  This woman shouldn't get a sentence, she should just get the chair. 

Endorsement for KC Mayoral Race - SLY JAMES

Having lived in the metro for most of my life I have come to realize one important thing in local politics, THE MAYOR DOESN'T MATTER. Being Mayor of KCMO is like getting a key to the city, it is a nice honor but you really have no power. (This makes Funkhousers abortion of his term in office an even more incredible feat.  It's almost as if Funkhouser went out of his way to screw up what should be an easy job.)

So the only way to go is by personality and endorsements.  Sly James seems to actually have a decent personality and isn't endorsed by the ghosts of KC mayors past.
