QUICK HITS

1. Environmental indoctrination hits local High Schools.
2. Another shooting in Lawrence? Gang Bangers vs. the local granola munching hippie wannabees. My money is on the wannabe hippies. There is nothing scarier in America than a clueless liberal.
3. Prospect is such a great part of town for people watching (from a distance). Where else in town would a naked woman hop in a car, speed and cause a multicar pile up? As long as she was keeping it real.
4. Could blight rail of prevented this robbery? The way the mayor is neglecting crime and focusing on his train set one would think so.
5. Another dead body found in....................KCK. Welcome back to the headlines! We missed you.
6. How the hell does one rob a bank through the drive through? THEY ARE OUTSIDE! LOCK THE DOORS, CALL THE POLICE. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY YOU DAMN FOOLS!
7. Female midget PIMP. Just when you think you have heard it all...
8. Guns & Roses album leaked by bloggers.
CAPTAIN SAVE A HO

Remember when fund raisers for HS kids consisted in the selling of candy, bake sales, popcorn or even the dreaded magazine subscriptions? Well those days have left us and have been replaced with JOCO parents pimping out their daughters. Every Saturday with the urging of their pimp parents these girls are put on corners, barely dressed, looking to solicit money from strangers for their services.
Sure they call it a "car wash" but who are they kidding? This is nothing more than modified strip club act. You see parents in JOCO are so competitive that they are willing to put their attractive daughters on display in order to raise "funds" so that little Katelyn and Ashley can go to Europe. Then when they raise the funds they tell the kids what great little "workers" they are and that they are so proud of them. But what the hell are they proud of? The fact that their kid shaked her ass and jumped up and down enough to get strange men to pull over?
What do these conversations sound like? "way to go honey now get your ass back on that corner and get me more money", " more bouncing sweetie, more bouncing", "less water on the cars and more on the girls", "NO YOU CANT WEAR YOUR ONE PIECE, SILLY HO!", "Don't give the money to the girls, you pay me".
Seriously this crap is too funny. I would post more regarding this subject but I need to go dirty up the truck agian......................

OKLAHOMA JOES BBQ STORE
This is a heads up for Bull E. Vard. I posted your comment and then lost track of what post it was in. The BBQ store is attached to the OK Joes joint in Olathe at 119th & Strang Line. Great alternative to the over priced Smoke & Fire.
QUICK HITS

1. Kansas liberals in favor of harboring illegals just cost the state a million dollars for their arrogance.
2. Metal theft vs. Drive By shootings - KCMO police department decides to tackle metal thieves.
3. Get pregnant pact amongst HS girls includes sleeping with homeless people to get knocked up.
4. Aussies are fatter than Americans.
5. KCMO Woman attacked in her home.
6. SUN publications continues to attack smokers. I am just glad that newspapers aren't bias....
7. Does a chick you slept with a year ago have a kid that looks like you? Daddy Tests are now available in your local drug store.
GREEN UPDATE

The push to drill for our own oil is increasing. A new poll that came out yesterday said that nearly 70% of Americans are in favor of drilling for oil in ANWR & OCS. You DO NOT cut prices at the pump and home heating by penalizing those that produce the oil. You cut prices buy increasing the supply. The simplicity of this seems to baffle this countries socialist party. You see to a dem/socialist increasing taxes and government take over are always the answer. Socialist believe that YOU are to ignorant to think and provide for yourself (elitist mentality) and that THEY are better suited to take care of you than you are.
Some links to chew on.
1. The Pope of all things green continues to live a lie. Even after the "changes" he made to his house and his DEMANDS that Americans cut back his power usage INCREASED. Also this professor says that Al Gore's weight is bad for the environment. Hilarious stuff.
2. DEMOCRATS WANT TO FOLLOW IN THE FOOT STEPS OF DICTATORS AROUND THE WORLD! "We (the government) should own the refineries. Then we can control how much gets out into the market."
3. The president finally gets off his ass and calls for drilling. Even if he is a little late to the party it is good to see him attending.
4. MORE SHOCK! Global Warming is now going to kill off whales.....GIVE ME A BREAK!
5. EVEN MORE SHOCK! Global Warming is responsible for earthquakes. Too freaking funny! I like this guys rebuttal.
6. DON'T FALL FOR THE HYPE!
7. WAIT! The frogs are safe. Scientist pushing their agenda failed to include data that would not push their agenda. See whales and earthquakes above...
8. Pine Beetle is causing global warming. KILL IT!
9. Carbon trading has failed in Europe and is full of corruption.

QUICK HITS

1. The Mayor has to be pissed that this shooting didn't take place a block down the road but I think the timing is PERFECT. As I stated when the mayor launched his idiotic blight rail plan, the East Side of KCMO is NOT the spot to have your light rail hub. What commuter from the Burbs of Missouri wants to deal with random bullets while waiting for the next train, bus or stage coach (he does include stage coaches in his plan doesn't he?)?
2. COTU? Who the hell names a chimp COTU? Even funnier is that someone believes that a caged chimp is the Center Of The Universe. The people that bought the naming rights to these animals are the same idiots that dress up in safari gear when going to the zoo.
3. Let's just hope that these aren't the same people that said that the levees would last in New Orleans....And who the hell goes to school to become a Hydrologist? Wasn't that what Bobby Boucher called himself?
4. MOVIE NIGHT? What the hell is this crap? More KCMO tax dollars being flushed........
5. Who robs a freaking Wal Mart?
6. Once again the show me state amazes me. This time the two Gov candidates are fighting over Viagra. Holy crap.
7. Sick story regarding "child sex trade" in Kansas City. I am sure that the Mayor couldn't be reached for comment due to a blight rail meeting.
8. I can't believe that this story came out AFTER Fathers Day...
9. Three Drive by shootings in one morning. BE PROUD EAST SIDE!

THE PRICE OF WAR
It appears that KC motorist have decided to fight back against the swarm of cyclist that are flooding the city streets like locust in a wheat field (locust are less annoying). Keep in mind while reading the story that Mike Hedricks is a self admitted "cyclist" and completely bias in his coverage of this.
"Indeed, we are seeing that. And not just the recreational cyclists in their skin-tight spandex. With gas prices soaring, there has been an uptick in the number of people walking and biking for trips to the store and work."
I Call BS on this. WHEN THE HELL HAVE YOU SEEN SOMEONE ON A BIKE ON THEIR WAY TO WORK???????? When you do see these people during rush hour they ARE in their spandex in a group of 3-4 taking up a whole lane (against the law by the way). This guy is a freaking hack.

YOU CAN'T TRUST OLD PEOPLE

I have been saying it for years. The police think it is suspicious that she has 5 dead husbands...REALLY? You have to check out the mugshot of this woman, she looks pissed.
THINGS OF NOTE
1. Fathers Day: This was the first Fathers day in 5 years that I didn't have a huge BBQ but it was still nice. My girls picked out their own gifts for me and well, umm... it was nice. I still fired up one of the smokers and made a couple slabs of ribs for me and the girls and a Pork Tenderloin for my wife. The ribs turned out great and I was happy to see my 2 little girls enjoy eating ribs for the first time. The tenderloin had good flavor but I think I left it on 30 minutes too long. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing (too much pain to do anything else) and watching the Woody Woodpecker (greatest cartoons ever) collectors DVD set that my wife got me.
2. Health: I went in for my CT Scan last week and they didn't find any tumors but I still feel like crap. I have been having more good days than bad days lately so I am hoping that the meds are finally starting to kick in, but who knows. I wanted to thank those of you that care for the phone calls and emails that you have sent my way. Even if it isn't serious it is good to know who is in my corner.
3. Death, Are you covered? I remember thinking that I was a little young to be purchasing a life insurance policy 3 years ago but I am glad I pulled then trigger when I did. There is no way in hell that I could get the same type of coverage I have if I tried to sign up today. It is good to know that if something were to happen to me that the family will be more than taken care of.
4. Thomas The Train: Saturday we took the girls to Baldwin City to see Thomas the Train. Everything was great until we rode the train. What a freaking rip off. 35 minute train ride that consisted of staring at 2 junkyards, a house that had a corvette in the drive way but had "outdoor plumbing", flooded farm fields and trash. The funniest part about the whole train ride is that you go backwards for half the time and then go forward the rest. This means that you get to see the Junkyards, trash and flooded farm fields twice. While I say it is was a ripoff it was still worth it because the kids loved it.
5. New Dog: I have decided on a pug but my wife is wanting a Golden Retriever. Can you cross breed the two?
6. Blog: After 9 months I reached the 20k hit mark. Thank you to all of you that make this part of your daily reading. Except for you stalker.....
7. Power Outage: Last Sunday the power to our house went out. This wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that our sump pump lost power. After some brainstorming with some neighbors I ran up to Wal Mart and purchased a power converter that allows me to use my car as a power source and 100 feet of heavy duty extension cord that I ran from the drive way down to the basement. It was pretty simple to hook up and within minutes the basement was saved from certain flooding.

QUICK HITS

1. Further proof that Print Media is a thing of the past. There will be 120 unemployed liberals courtesy of the KC Red Star. Should I thank them?
2. Local Catholics have got to be sick of seeing their cash go to legal defense funds.
3. It isn't a real party in KCMO unless there is gunfire. Once again, 39th & Main.
4. "Voices in his head" are better than law enforcement in Springfield, Mo.
5. The arson problem in Kansas City continues to be unnoticed by local media. They are much too busy covering hail damage in Nebraska....
6. Murder suicide is something I will never understand. Luckily this guy was only accurate at Point Blank range.
7. Chubbys vs. Hospital: Advantage Chubbys
8. Bad news ahead for internet users.
9. California cops skip the trial in man who beat baby to death. Kudos to these guys for killing this guy for this sick crime.
10. Could you imagine the rage of JOCO residents if this shop opened up in OP?

FLOODING
Anyone else sick of the flood coverage? This crap is getting over the top. Last night I watched an interview on one of the local stations of an elderly couple in which they described the floating patterns of driftwood when the water is rising...........Gripping journalism.
Don't we all know by now that when we get a lot of rain that bodies of water will flood and people that live near these areas will be affected? Do we need 5 stories in one news broadcast or in one paper outlining this crap to us?
