There is a KC Star opinion writer that must be chomping at the bit to go work for another racist paper, send him an application.

10.  Soooo, a Utah school decided to give the parents the option of having their kids OPT OUT of Black History month.  This subject is controversial on many levels. 1.  Shouldn't history be history? 2.  If we had not ignored the contributions of black folks for ohhh 200 years, would this correction even be needed 3.  Will there always be a need for "black history" to be taught or will society simply merge overtime and include all American contributions in its history? I would for one like to learn more about the Irish in America than we left because of a food shortage, people hated us, we built railroads and were slaughtered in the civil war.

 I never read the Star.  It has been a garbage paper for a long time and it seems that ever since George Floyd was murdered by a racist cop in Mn, they have been going out of their way to make up for their own inadequacies with black folks.  So, I come across this wonderful headline and

He did find a few token white folks to sprinkle in about their feelings.  Ya know ask 100 people and you will surely find a few with opinions that match your slant.  And lets be honest, white people from JOCO will always give you the exact quote you want because they are shook.

Scanning this guys stories one tends to see a pattern.  He even went on to be critical of the "Big Slick" charity events in KC because there were too many pale faced individuals.  Hmmm.  So even celebs raising money that is distributed through out the community regardless of race are pieces of shit to this clown.  He even wrote an article about how a shooting in KCK could have been avoided.. COULDN'T ALL SHOOTINGS BE AVOIDED! 

This guy moved to KC from STL to get away from violence!!!!!!  So obviously he is pretty shitty at research.  The Star brought him here to say "ohh we get black people now", and if he knew anything of the Star and its racist past then he MIGHT have passed on the job.  What does it say about a guy that wants to be critical of everything race in the city yet he works for The Star and took that gig in 2018 when the facts were out there about the Paper?  Going to work for a racist paper is even worst than supporting a racist retailer.  

A check is a check I guess.  So while reading this guys "opinions", consider the source, the history etc..

So does this mean that the people of OP will elect someone that will value their tax dollars and return the police department into a community first department? Hell no.  The county has turned Blue which means that nothing but waste and a crappy police department will be allowed.

Kansas City Public Schools - accreditation bad idea without real proof of turnaround

 There is a story in the Kansas City bullshit Star saying that the school district got a thumbs up
from some liberal group that looks at other "urban schools".  Now, the first thing that comes to mind is that the majority of the school districts this group looks into are hot flaming dumpster fires that have students fleeing in record numbers.  So when they say they have made "progress" and have "momentum", are they saying that in comparison to those districts or ALL districts.  

Is the KCMO school district nothing more than a 700lbs person dieting for 4 months, dropping water weight, and then resuming their normal activities because the real problems haven't been addressed.  What do we really know about the changes that happened within the district?  NONE are listed.  Typically when details aren't given about how change happened then there is a good chance that there might be smoke and mirrors involved.

Typically, in areas with good or improving schools there isn't widespread gang activity, murder, truancy, sinking property values etc... Politicians, lobbyist, bureaucrats and yes TEACHERS UNIONS can't be trusted EVER.  This "Council of the Great City Schools" is just about the most liberal group that I have ever come across in all of my days in researching stories.  Also, their biggest legislature news according to their own site last took place 5 years ago.  What the F have they been doing besides pushing common core?

What impact has this Council had on the KCMO school district?  Zero examples of how they
"helped" in this epic turnaround have been given yet you are supposed to trust this lobbyist based out of D.C. that the city is ready to regain accreditation.  The minute this happens, the school district will forever be doomed.  

Instead of bullshit press releases then why can't we see in a chart where the test scores are compared to the region, state and nation?  Can we see what percentage of increase took place from the time accreditation was lost to when this bullshit statement was given?  Can we also see the number of truant students there are?  Which students were given the tests?  Has the test changed in the past 10 years and if so, how?

Answer those questions in this story and maybe there can be a parade thrown.  Until those questions are answered it looks like a cheap PR stunt by parties that have a lot to gain and little to do with the families suffering under this bureaucratic nightmare of incompetence coming out and saying "oh it has gotten soooooooo much better"
