Murder Stats for a Racist City - Put up or Shut Up

Since we are in a world where stats are available for everything and anything

crime-related I have one request.  Can we please have a breakdown of the ethnicity of the killer and the victim?

Since media outlets, local politicians and, "religious leaders" want to blame white folks for crimes against every race, can we please see the breakdown?  If there is truly a line that can be drawn linking the 71 murders in the city to an epidemic of racism by white folks in the city then I will stand up and join the left and start putting together my Black Lives Matter sign tonight.  I like most people in this city will not tolerate racism.

But when those stats come back and show a different story, will the left-wing extremists in the city stop their meaningless calls for defunding the police and instead focus on the real issues that are causing Killa City to go buck wild? Or are those topics too difficult to tackle?  Not trendy enough for people exploiting skyrocketing body counts?  Until the city is ready to honestly discuss the causes of the spike the city will never end this trend.

Let me see the stats.  You would think that white folks are going around and pulling minorities out of cars and ending them all over the metro, right?

Could KC be ready for a new newspaper?

I have had multiple conversations about the state of "news" publishing (print and
over the air) in the KC metro area in the past few weeks and one thing keeps being said, "what the fuck happened?" It seems the past 3 years have seen a major shift in the way stories are covered and even if what we are hearing about could be considered "news".  To a person, everyone has stated that a more traditional newspaper could come in and completely dominate the market and drive what is left of "The Star" completely out of town.

It seems that people are sick and tired of being called racist and hearing about how corrupt the police are and how even more money is needed to fight "insert the flavor of the month cause".  In the meantime, stories from the North & South of the city get ZERO coverage, sports are poorly covered and JOCO is slandered.  To say that "The Star" has jumped the shark on racial issues in this town MIGHT be the biggest understatement I have ever made on this blog.

The local newspaper can't keep staff, hides articles behind a paywall, hides the names of authors of editorials behind the phrase "editorial board" and takes up political causes instead of trying to at least maintain some sort of charade of impartiality.  It almost seems like they think that they are going to create change instead of reporting on it.  Good luck, when your subscriptions have plummeted and people see your approach for what it is.

People are sick of being lectured and are ready for NEWS.

KC Star calls over 55% of their City, Racist....

So here goes yet another barrage of stories about how racist and nasty the
majority of the KC area is.  This time, just because you are NOT in favor of the mayor trying to create a loophole to defund the police (which is kinda against Mo law), they call you a white republican racist.  If that isn't enough they compare NKC to slave states of the south prior to the civil freaking war.

Now I know that most of the Star writers are new to the area BUT NKC has discussed leaving KCMO since the freaking 80s.  This isn't news but it is a way to tie into their post-George Floyd narrative that all white people or people of any color that disagree with liberal talking points and socialist policies are either racist or self-hating people of color.  Let us not forget that for close to a century the KC STAR was the chief racist in town.  Ever speak to a reporter/writer of color that use to work there?  There are LOTS of stories.

The KC Star then post a story that EVERYBODY in the city already knew about, the guy that Troost was named after was kinda a bad dude.  Missouri was a slave state (those of us on the Kansas side know this well) and there is a lot about the city that was wrong.  But let us not forget who has run KCMO for Generations, DEMOCRATS!

If KCMO is a racist city, then look no further than the Democrats that have run the city since my grandparents migrated here.  The KC Star and elected officials need to take a long look in the mirror before pushing out false narratives but maybe this is part of their plan.

Democrats in KCMO are like the kid in class that farted and then proceeded to blame everyone around them that were just minding their own business.

Asking a question that has been answered - KC STAR

Once again the KC Star is trying to make the citizens of the metro out to be a bunch of fools.  Why else would they put out an event titled " A discussion of
poverty and gun violence"
?

What is there to be discussed?  People that feel as if they have little to no options will resort to nontraditional occupations to survive.  This isn't exactly breaking news.  Inside these nontraditional occupations, violence is almost sure to follow.  Once again, not breaking news.

Then we will hear about how more jobs in communities will cure this problem, it will not.  Those jobs will pay 1/4 of what people can make outside of gentrified jobs and the demand for the products/services that they were offering will remain.  This has been the case since even before prohibition.  So tell me, what does this plan to solve?

If my eyes ain't red, it's all in my head"

Once said by a Ph.D med

"Legalize and I'll advertise

The only way to truly solve this issue is to legalize drugs, gambling, and prostitution.  "legalize and I will advertise" - Keith Murray

Once you knock the bible out of the hands of legislative types that spend all of their time focussing on "sin crimes" instead of schools etc.. THEN you will see change.  Something tells me that The KC Star doesn't have near the juice to get this accomplished.  Not even 50 years ago when the paper had some credibility and power could it accomplish this.  Today's paper doesn't have enough credibility left to influence a single issue (large or small) in the city.

Symbolism over Substance - KC Streets

I just read that for the 3rd time in almost as many years, KC is set to
name a street after Martin Luther King Jr.  This to me is almost as transparent as the white skin that has kept such a street from being named for nearly 50 years.  Doesn't every metro area in the nation already have a street named after the civil rights pioneer?  Shit, some have 2 streets, 4 schools, and a bridge but not KC.

So what changed?  Could it be that in a city that has ignored racial issues inside its borders that they decided to right a wrong?  Fuck no.  You see, it is all in an effort to become a WOKE city.

Sure, the schools, crime, economic conditions, and infrastructure are worst now than they have been in decades (despite investing tens of millions of dollars into these neighborhoods) but at least the street, any street it seems, will finally be renamed.  It is a token gesture made by a token government to provide them with change that will not bring about real change.

Why would they want change when they are getting wealthy off of keeping the problems?  KC leadership at all levels is a complete joke and it has been since I have been a kid.  School Board, City Council, Commissioners, Mayor, Religious leaders etc.. have all gotten wealthy off of the backs of others living in subpar conditions.

Hell, the only real areas of progress have occurred when those idiots have kept to themselves.  The only thriving areas in the city happened despite the "leadership" and not because of.

This street name change does have some roots.  Go back to the 1700s and see what the Native Americans gave up for some needs and mirrors.

KC STAR HATES COPS

I will not drag on in this post because the two stories listed today by the Star should tell you everything.  As KCMO violent crime goes up, the Star decides to attack the police and make their jobs more difficult.  Stay Bloody KC, this is the paper you purchase, the elected officials you support and the city you deserve.

1.  KCPD Rick Smith is dishonest according to The Star

2.  The Star backs the claims that the police beat a criminal

KC Caves to Homeless

There is nothing better for local business, tourism etc.. than homeless camps.  KC has decided to follow in the footsteps of such great city's as San Fran, NYC and LA when it comes to homeless folks so we can all expect similar results.  Congrats KCMO, you have officially become a shithole.

KCMO Murder surge solved with a "Blueprint" of liberal programs

I have been blogging about KCMO sucking for nearly 14 years now and in all that
time I might not have ever come across a bigger piece of a shit plan than this one.  It read much like a book report written by a kid that didn't read the book but saw the cover and jumped to conclusions based upon a picture and what they interpreted it to mean.  In this case, the people that wrote this used the correct font, proper spacing, snazzy graphics, and bullet points straight out of the propaganda playbook.  Don't believe me, then tell me how LGBTQ programs figure into the MURDER RATE in KCMO????

The Blueprint solves all social and economic issues all at once and tells everyone that if the 5 million steps taken are in fact taken, the city will turn into Utopia.  It is that easy! Those steps will certainly make up for the decades of corruption, mismanagement, and lack of action taken by the democrats that run the schools, government, churches, and police department.  The author really "gets" KCMO.

Instead of a 5million point plan, how about you start with schools and go from there.  Instead of civilian review boards how about you increase funding to the police department for better training and more police (ya know, maybe solve a case or two). Instead of worrying about livable wages, blight etc. you see what a community with kids going to decent schools and a robust and highly trained PD does to turn around a community. It is a simple start but it seems to be better than academics writing papers about shit they paid a fortune to learn nothing about.

Marches, Candles, Slogans and Teddy Bears

Instead of actually stepping up and assisting the police Kansas City fights crime with marches,
candles, slogans and teddy bears.  What a joke this city has become when it comes to inner city crime.  Is there nobody in these shit hole neighborhoods that is willing to man up and help the police departments track down these child killers?

The people that organize these marches etc.. would be better off using their time and energy to organize neighborhood watches, teaching their kids that it is OK to talk to the police and to teach parents that their actions effect the lives of their children.  These kids didn't ask to be born into a life of drive by shootings and street executions and their communities need to do more than light some flippin candles to remember their lives.

This crap has been going on for 30 years or so and has any of their symbolic gestures done an ounce of good?  The answer is obvious.

KCMO Liberalism Fail

The liberals TRIED to expand government in the city by making a department to license and and
train people on FEEDING THE HOMELESS.    This idea might go down as one of the stupidest things that I have ever heard of in my life.  Only a liberal would want to make it more difficult for people to give to the poor and needy .Well, i guess when it is liberals that rarely give to charity in either time or money it is ok to try and get some $$ from those that do.

Let me simplify this for you idiots that feel that you need classes and special permits to take care of the hungry people in your freaking city.

1.  Spot homeless person
2.  Have food
3.  Give food to homeless person.

The End.

Lower Murder Rate is NOT a sign of things to come

Tony's Kansas City: TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! CELEBRATING LOWER KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE NUMBERS SO FAR THIS YEAR!!!

You can throw all that optimism crap out the window right now because it is a waste of hope.

This blog has been extremely accurate when predicting the murder rate and its causes over the years and received a lot of media attention due to its accuracy.  Having said that, the only reason that the murder rate is lower right now is two words, POLAR VORTEX.  Nothing that the police department can do can compete with the effects that cold weather has on the murderous activity of our wonderful violent city.

Gang Crackdown - Yeah Right

Police, prosecutors warn gangs: We're coming after you | Local News - KMBC Home

1.  Do we really believe that this time they "really" mean it?  This carries as much weight as every other BS new conference that we have heard over the past decade regarding crime, guns, gangs, stupid ass national mayor initiatives etcc
2.  Is Kansas City finally admitting to having a gang problem?  For over a decade now elected officials and the media have ignored the local gang activity and never linked any of it to the violence.  This of course was done to play down how violent this city has become.
3.  Being a member of a gang isn't illegal. Saying that they are going to crack down on gang bangers in this city still will require people to commit crimes and witnesses to testify.  Are we to believe that the Tips hotline is going to suddenly be ringing off the hook?  Give me a freaking break.

Come for the BBQ & Stay for the Bullets

If ever there was an appropriate slogan for our chamber of commerce it is that.  How jacked up is it that people that live in the crappiest of crap neighborhoods can't even ride the crap bus without getting the crap shout out of them on their way to their crap job for crap pay?

The best part of this whole thing is that leaders in this town believe that light rail will be ridden in this town by non KCMO residents coming to the area for entertainment.  HA!  There was slim to no chance of that happening before and NOW, no freaking way.  More city money flushed down the toilet but liberal wannabe do gooders that could of used the money for more patrols through high crime areas.

The one thing that few people are talking about is the lack of JOCO residents that are going to the Plaza.  As the JOCO population continues to move further south there aren't going to be people wanting to drive 35 minutes to get robbed or shot at (yes that is the perception)?  Especially when the same restaurants are now open on 135th street.  When Joco residents do cross the border is typically to go to Crown Center, Power and Light and the Truman Sports Complex.  That is until those areas start showing up in the news..

The 64106 - F'd from Birth

For the past few weeks I have been doing some research into this zip code to better understand the infrastructure that exists in this craphole.  Some of the lesser publicised information is a pretty good guide to what conditions are like for those that are born and raised in that environment.  Do we really expect newborns to be straight A students when they are 14 when they are born into a world of hellish conditions.

  • 2,044 homes that are in that area code were built before 1939 and only 2600 have been built since then.  How the hell are they still standing and what are conditions like inside of them?
  • The highest population rate is for the ages of 0-18.  Exactly how many kids is that per parent?  And the numbers have an incredible drop off after 18.
  • Despite the thoughts of many in the area, almost half the population in that zipcode are white folks.
  • There are over 100 sex offenders in that zip code alone
  • The average income is half the states average at 25k and 43% of the residents are below the poverty line.
  • The highest income level percentage is $0 per year.
  • High School enrollment is 1/3 of what the rest of the state averages
  • 723 residents over the age of 18 have employment disabilities
  • 1224 residents are living in some type of correctional facility
  • From 1999 - 2011 their have been over 18 Million dollars of government contracting awarded to businesses their.  WTF have they done with that money?
This is just ONE zip code in the east side.  How do you expect to solve a crime and education problem when kids are being born into this?  Could you be who you are today if you grew up in the above environment?

KC's Biggest Environmental Disaster

One could read the Northeast News story about the homeless and feel some pain for those that live under bridges, overpasses, in boxes and yes underground.  Hell you might even want to get off your fat JOCO ass and do something to help.  BUT who are we kidding right?

We all know that the real issue here is how the homeless are responsible for global warming in KC.  The homeless are global terrorists dead set on world wide destruction and pocket change.
Do you really feel sorry for those that leave trash behind that will end up destroying this planet in a billion years?  They are purposely trying to kill our great, great, great...... grandchildren to punish us for their misfortune.

And let us not forget the one person most directly harmed by this problem, George E. Kessler.  Is a park full of litter and human waste really fitting for the man that helped found city planning and landscape architecture?

Sippin on some Sizzurp - KC Media Fail

Tony's Kansas City: KC News Quiz: "What is purple drank?"

This made me laugh my ass off this morning because it is just sad that our local media is so far behind on what goes on underground.  I believe I even heard KMBZ call this "new" this morning this story.  Are Tony & I the only ones out there that actually know what this shit is
when talking about?

For those of you that don't know this "drink"  has been around for around 20 years or so and really took off in the Houston, Texas hip hop scene.  The whole music genre "chopped & screwed" was developed because of the popularity of the drink and how the slowed down music sounded while on it.

This crap has taken tons of lives and is more addictive than crack cocaine.  The purple stuff isn't new to the area, just new to the douchebags that cover news in this city that never go beyond the yellow tape at the crime scene so that they can better understand the real issues and causes of all this madness.

Missouri Privacy Rights?

Highway patrol gave feds Missouri weapon permits data - Columbia Daily Tribune : News

The first step in confiscating anything is to figure out who/where to find it.

It's your Zoo now East Side, enjoy

Altercation at KC Zoo ‘free day’ leads to arrest - KansasCity.com

I have held off on commenting on this story because honestly it was just too big of a target and there was just too much speculation on what happened. BUT NOW I feel like I can.

Let's see how much is wrong with this whole scenario

1.  Free day is suppose to reward tax payers for footing the bill for the Zoo BUT how many people that went actually paid taxes to fund the zoo?  I can guarantee that non of the people in the fight did.

2.  How does the mayor hope that East Side parents getting more involved in their kids lives would be good for them?  By all reports the PARENTS were the main offenders here.  The saying that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree applies.

3.  The Zoo will now suffer the same fate as Bannister Mall, Indian Springs Mall, Worlds of Fun and yes the Plaza.  Attendance will drop, funds will dry up, exhibits will close and blight will set in on the park.

4.  Alternatives will sprout up.  Deanna Rose is all ready a huge hit in Joco and takes away attendance from the zoo.  How long before a "new zoo" gets developed in Joco or West Wyco?  I have heard from several people out here that say that they will NOT be back.

5.  You knew it was coming.  The Zoo is surrounded by a war zone.  This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.  Remember all the people getting car jacked on their way back from Starlight?????  How long will it be before someone get shot at the freaking zoo?  Do they have metal detectors?  Sufficient security?

The city has an average zoo at best, is it really worth the time, gas money and entry fee to put yourself at risk?  Jocoians everywhere will ask themselves this over the next few months and the results will not be good
