In the story she did in July 2011 on my research on crime in KCMO Ms. Betsy Webster of KCTV 5 noted that in the past 15 years there have been an average of 42 more black homicides in KCMO than homicides of other races, but that after the Salva story broke this figure increased to 57 more black homicides than homicides of other races. This gaphas appeared, according to preliminary figures, to have grown in the past year. 

 In calender year 2011 there were 62 more black homicides than homicides of other races, and in the first year of Mayor James administration (May 1, 2011-April 30, 2012) there were 70 more black homicides than homicides of other races. Right now in 2012, we are at 43 more black homicides than homicides of other races--and the calender year still has three months to run. Crime situation in the city's black neighborhoods appears to be deteriorating.

Can someone please tell me how the people at one of the most successful retail chains in the world came up with the idea to open a store in Merriam, Ks?  We are talking about the city in Joco that makes Olathe look like Leawood right?  I don't care what they open up in Merriam, it will fail.

Has anything ever succeeded over there besides a Krispy Kreme donut shop?  Even the people that live there have failed (at life).  This is the city that is home to the Honor  Roll Student Mecca of Shawnee Mission North right?  The people that live over there probably think that they are getting a car dealership.

How is it that you passed on Southern Joco, The Village West and the Zona Rosa area and came up with a place that was begging for a freaking Circuit City?

A message to the Overland Park Police Chief

Dear Chief,
First off let me clarify this email by stating that this is not directed to the officers that risk their lives everyday for us.  This is a question of leadership not a question of the quality of officers that you have working for you.

I know that you might have one of the easiest jobs in the country and that the most vital duty you have to the city is to generate revenue BUT do you think you might be able to start patrolling neighborhoods a little more?

This past weekend our subdivision was full of prowlers cutting through backyards, roaming the streets at late hours of the night etc... It is almost like they knew that there wouldn't be a single patrol car in the area and they had free reign of the area.

What this led to was a bunch of residents running would be criminals out of their neighborhoods and tracking down fence jumpers in their vehicles.  Is this really what we have come to in South Overland Park?  Do we need to form "neighborhood watches" (cus we all know how well that worked out in Florida)?

Sure traffic tickets, pathetic DUI  checkpoints, massage parlor "stakeouts" and the crackdown of weed generate a lot more revenue and headlines for you and make it more likely that you will remain chief but could you throw us just this bone and let us sleep in piece?

The 74% can kiss my ass

I have spent the past few days reading through census reports, tax rates, social engineering tax breaks etc.. so that I could better understand the whole 47% debate that Romney started and come to a simple, well thought out conclusion.  Well, with the exception of veterans and the seriously handicapped, the rest of them can kiss my ass.

Oh, don't worry, the other 47% is thinking that 53% of us can kiss their ass too.  Hell inside of the 53% that I belong to I want 27% of those people to kiss my ass.  

So basically what I am trying to say is that I could care less what 74% of you idiots think and I wish that you would simply mind your own business on all affairs and let me keep my freaking money.  

This percentage shouldn't be shocking to anyone because when you add up liberals and religious soldiers you are left with about 26% of the country that actually have some sort of common sense and live by the constitution and not by the marching orders of religion or their iconic hero's.

KCMO Fails again - Blunt Wrappers??

The latest step taken by the idiots in KCMO to fight drugs might be one of the dumbest ideas yet.  

KCMO officials believe that BLUNT WRAPPERS are key to drug use among "minors".  By putting paper behind the counter they seriously think that they are going to prevent marijuana use.  

I hate to point out the obvious here BUUUUUUUUT don't you think that the people buying an illegal substance MIGHT be able to get LEGAL blunt wrappers?  

Are they going to fight underage drinking by putting Solo Cups behind the counter too??

The recent actions against Mike Babick and his Christmas display by the Prairie Village city council  could go down as one of the biggest douche bag elitist moves in the history of the city.  Let's face it, that is hard to do in a city where people bitch about the invasion of BBQ smell in their backyard, the sound of kids playing catch and home to a school that once confused the Mercedes sign for the Peace sign.

For over 30 years now people have been bringing their families to see this awesome display of Christmas past and due to the sniffling and crying of a few people that is all going to come to an end.  I read in that story that the noise, littering, traffic were all to blame but anyone that has been there can tell you that traffic is congested but organized, the noise is low and I have never seen littering going on out there.  Did someone 15 years ago drop a gum wrapper?  Probably but other than that I have never seen a litter problem.

Prairie Village is a joke with a bunch of whiners as residents and a street full of pretentious jack ass's.

I say put the freaking thing up again this year but have Santa pissing on a sign saying  "welcome to perfect village".

It is time to rid ourselves of the ridiculous formulas and rationalization behind this failed funding system and return to more local control of our money.  This communist redistribution of school financing is yet another black eye on a state full of backward thinking hillbilly's.

Not since Lane Myer was haunted by a switchblade comb packing menace on a bicycle have these words meant more to residents of Kansas.  You see, our politicians screwed up big time with their new modernized DMV computer system and literally want us to bail their asses out for the low low price of $2 per resident.  Oh, and we really don't get much of a say in the whole matter before it happens.

That's right, the state is basically going to increase property taxes on every resident of the state and disguise it as a "fee" to help them make up for their incompetence.

Here is an idea, how about you have 3M discount their price enough to make up for the overtime since it is after all their fault (according to you).  OR how about we hold back the pay of those that worked on the system, decided to purchase the system and WHO LIED to us about how big of a problem it really was.  Shouldn't they be responsible?  They do after all report to the tax payers not the other way around.

In the grand scheme of things $2 to an individual isn't much and they are counting on all of to say "ohh well, it is only $2".  What you need to do is find out what that exact total equals and how that money could of been better spent.

Could we of saved 1 more life with median restraints on our highways with that money?
How many police officers could the state, county and local governments employ with that money?
Could we provide firefighters with better equipment with that money?
Could we of kept open some of the schools that we closed down with that money?

All of these would be a better use of a $2 per vehicle TAX increase on every vehicle in the state.  Instead we are going to spend that TAX money on a cover up of an incompetent group of government employees and the padding of the pockets of DMV employees.

Shouldn't we get to know the names of the people responsible for this and what actions were taken against them before we even consider bailing out their incompetence?  These folks don't still have jobs do they?  Thank about it, cashiers at grocery stores get fired for having a $10 shortage in their drawer.  Surely a multi-million dollar F*** Up like this should lead to the same right?????

People that know me understand how emotional September 11th is for me. Maybe it is because I was raised by a family of firefighters or the fact that my wife was pregnant with our first child or just the fact that I had once joined the Marine Corp to defend this country from such thing for whatever reason I can't get over what happened. Which means that I really don't know how to put into words how important it is that we never forget the loss of life on that day.

The videos of firefighters rushing into buildings to save people as everyone else runs out, the pictures of lost family members posted on fences, the sound of bodies hitting the awning, the sound of all the firefighters equipment beeping beneath the rubble, the voice mails left by fathers calling to say good bye to their families and the recorded calls from flight 93 before they rushed the cockpit will forever be with me.

Recession of hope and bankruptcy of change

This will be a very entertaining week for those of us that have the ability to separate Bullshit from reality and laugh at it.  Has there ever been a bigger group of liars, cheats, backstabbers, hustlers, criminals and ugly people assembled in one place (besides an MU Game)?  

I can't believe that some of you are actually considering voting for a man that has done more damage to this country in 4 years than Bush did in 8.  Then again, half of this country is looking for a handout and incapable of taking care of themselves, just look around you.  On your way to work,  at your kids schools, in your neighborhoods and yes even your family, there are Obama people that complain about how unfair life is and how they should have this or that and that it is just too hard to survive in America.  

The Obama supporters are clueless when asked on why they like him or any of his policies or how those policies have helped them.  They get angry, red faced and scream over you when you ask questions about his policies and agenda.  You should know by now that the reason they act this way is due to their limited IQ and lack of facts.  Just look at how loosely they throw around the terms racist, bigot, sexist and homophobic anytime that they are stuck in a corner.  

My beliefs are simple

• Let me keep the money I work for everyday
• Keep government out of my daily life 
• Keep government away from my business
• Follow the constitution 

Notice I didn't mention 1 single freaking social issue or government handout?  Why is it so hard for us to stay out of the lives and pockets of others in this country?  I don't get it.  AND I am not a hypocrite on these issues.  

• I don't say that I am for freedom of religion and then try to make Mormons look like a cult
• I don't say that I am for government staying out of my life and then try to pass laws forcing everyone to behave the way I do
• I don't say that I am against government handouts and then accept money for my social behavior.
• I don't bitch about my taxes being raised or government spending when I get a TAX REFUND that covers my tab or Pay zero taxes all year.  
• I don't say that I am against racism and then never hire a minority.  
• I don't way that I am against changing the constitution and then change my mind when it comes to an issue that I want

So its simple.  Romney is as close to that as we can get so he gets my vote.  The rest of the crap means absolutely nothing to me.  

What does get to me is this hate, race baiting and division that this president is pushing just so that he can get reelected and take my money, limit the size of cokes I can drink, control my healthcare, control my business decisions and well basically control every aspect of my life except for what happens in my bedroom.  Other than that, they want total control and will stop at nothing to remain in power to finish their socialist plans for this country.  

Think about it.  Obama's biggest attacks on Republicans are all sex related.  Birth control, gay marriage and abortion.  WTF?????  Basically what they are saying is that they are willing to fund as much protected sex as you want in exchange for controlling the rest of your life.  Oh and if you run out of government birth control you can go to a government clinic and have an abortion on the tax payers.
